Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Autumn is looking for a very special, patient owner that is willing to work with her long-term.  Autumn unfortunately had a hard time in the past and was not treated with much kindness and had not received much human contact. She unfortunately was a breeders dog that came from a puppy mill and all they wanted from her were puppies.  Autumn would do best in a house with other confident dogs to teach her to be confident. A consistent daily routine would provide stability for her. Autumn is very fearful but has never been aggressive. She would do best in a home that is calm and laid-back without a lot of activity or commotion. Due to her fear, children are not a fit for this sweet girl. Her forever home will require a fence. Autumn's adoption fee is $250 and includes her spay, microchip, and current vaccinations plus a free 6-week training class at Cedar Run in Hiawatha. Last Hope requires that all animals be kept as indoor pets only, altered and current on vaccinations and on monthly heartworm preventatives year round. Our adoption process includes reference and background checks, vet and landlord check (if applicable)and a home visit.
