Mavis is a 4 year old Chinese Shar-Pei/Shepherd mix that is waiting for her new home! She is looking for someone that has lots of love and patience to give. While Mavis can be nervous around new people, after a slow meeting, she enjoys the company of kids and new people. Once Mavis calls you her friend she likes to give kisses and hugs. After a dog to dog meeting, which we can provide at our shelter, Mavis does well with other dogs but is a pretty independent spirit. Mavis is working on proper leash manners and is learning quick! I am heartbroken that I have to rehome this special guy. Buddy is 1 1/2 years old. He is a great family dog..He gets along with children and other dogs. He loves to run so a fenced yard or large play area would be great. He has been an inside dog who has been spoiled and loved and I want new family to do the same. He has not been neutered,he is house trained and chipped .

We have had Marley for 3 years now. She is a great dog in own home. She is protective and takes a little time to get used to new people. She loves my kids. Particularly my daughter who is 7. My other children are 5 and 2 and she is great with them both. She tries to chase squarrels when walked to potty so I don't think she will do well with cats unless you keep them separate while you teach Marley they are "babies". We have never had cats around her so I am not sure
