Story
Ruckus is a sweet boy but he needs a special adopter. Someone willing to be with him the majority of the time. He will need training and he is on meds for his Anxiety here at the shelter. He is the definition of a true rescue dog. He is on an Enzyme med that he has to be on probably for the rest of his life, It is a reasonable price. He is good with other dogs and cats and would probably do great in a home with a brother or sister. He is the sweetest boy but super stressed here in the shelter and needs a home . He was a death row pull from our local Animal Control here in Winchester Tennessee. We want to see him have a great family but no children under 16, please. He is not an easy dog so if you're up for a challenge here he is. If interested in Ruckus please contact kattiewithanimalharbor@gmail.com We transport using Rescue Riders LLC the best around.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Daisy! This stunning girl is a one year old Shar Pei/Lab mix who weighs about 40 pounds. She comes into rescue from Texas. We were able to save this girl and her litter of puppies from a high kill shelter just in the nick of time. All her puppies have been adopted and now Momma Daisy needs to find a forever home of her very own too! She is such a gorgeous girl and is sweet, gentle, and adores other dogs! She absolutely loves her humans and is very loyal and loving so much so that she can be tough to win over with strangers. Her ideal home would be one where new people are not coming and going often. She will be spayed and up to date on vaccines prior to placement in her forever home. Daisy managed to keep her puppies safe and alive alone on the harsh Texas streets and now it is her turn to finally feel safe with a family who will spoil her and love her forever. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Allegra is a female Shar Pei/Lab blend born in approximately November 2018. She is up to date on vaccines and will be spayed prior to placement in her forever home.  Allegra came to us with a terrible case of mange after she was dumped in SC. After weeks at our vet, she has healed beautifully & is now looking amazing! Allegra is partially deaf, but her hearing may be gradually improving. She is currently learning sign language in her foster home. Allegra is a sweetheart who wins the hearts of everyone she meets. She is described as tons of fun and she LOVES to play with big dogs. Allegra would do best with larger dogs because of her love of play, but she is unfazed by smaller dogs. She is currently with 2 Maine Coon cats who she is afraid of. Allegra is potty trained and crate trained. This beautiful girl is looking for a wonderful family that will welcome her with arms wide open, play with her, and snuggle. Would that be you?
