Story
Phoebe is a one-and-a-half-year-old, 57 pound, toffee colored Shar Pei/ Lab mix. She is sweet as can be and LOVES to play: fetch, running, exploring, and squeaky toys. This pup has a heart of gold and a wrinkly face that will melt your heart. Phoebe is a “people” dog and is extremely friendly as soon as she meets you but loves to interact with other dogs too! She loves to play stick (throws it for herself) and watch the squirrels and birds outside however she also loves to loaf around inside as well. Phoebe is perfectly content snuggled up on the sofa with her family in the evenings watching tv, so a home without a furniture rule is requested. She loves to be covered up with her blanket when she gets tucked in at night and is crate trained if necessary. Phoebe would love a high energy home with another dog her size to play with all the time. While she is a super sweet girl, she is still young and a bit clumsy so middle school aged kids and dogs her size are perfect for her. She’s even polite to the cat! She will need a 6ft stockade fenced yard in her forever home. Phoebe is crate, leash, and house trained. She loves to learn and picks up quick. The foster's 8 pound shi tzu taught her how to ring the bells when she wants to go outside and she learned quickly to sit for treats. Phoebe is spayed, microchipped, and current on her vaccines.
