Hello, I'm Max! I've lived in a home before but then a little human arrived. I've learned that I like bigger humans more than little ones because the little humans scare me.  So now I'm here looking for the perfect home and family for me. I am a really good boy! I'm smart and know some commands. One thing I struggle with is that I'm bashful around new people. When people come up to my kennel, sometimes I bark and sometimes I hide. This must be the reason I'm still here searching for my person. I know there is someone out there who'll give me a chance to gain their trust. Once I warm up to you, I'll let my personality shine. I enjoy the outdoors, running around, and playing with toys. When I'm relaxing I like to hang out near my person. Maybe that person could possibly me you? Will you give a shy boy like me a chance to be your best friend?

Story
Luna is a sweet 5 year old dog. She weighs 38 pounds. She was part of a group of 50 dogs that were rescued from a neglectful situation. Although she is grown, she most nearly resembles a labrador puppy. She needs to be crated when left alone. When not in the crate, she is paper trained. When I acquired her she was afraid of water, other dogs and loud cars. In two months she has made wonderful progress. She cannot wait to jump into the wading pool at the dog park. The other owners call her a sea lion. She has become the official greeter, meeting each dog at the entrance to the park. She learns quickly and is great with kids. It breaks my heart to part with her, but due to medical issues, I cannot keep her.

Ducky was adopted from SA Pets Alive in Jan 2019. She is a SherPai mix (with Terrier) She is a very sweet dog and gets along GREAT with our other dog and cat. We have 2 small Grandson's and she is not comfortable around them and growls. She has never bitten, just does not like them to get close to her. My husband and I travel quite a bit. All of our family is out of town so we travel to different cities often. When she stays with friends she refuses to use the bathroom outside. She goes inside, instead. However she is potty trained when home, so it is behavioral. It's getting where no one will watch her because of this. We feel she would be better off with someone who is home all the time and rarely/never travels, or needs to leave her with someone. When we adopted her she was heart worm positive, she has gone through the treatment (2 injections) and is on monthly preventative. Otherwise very healthy! We are very sad to let her go but want her to have the best home she can have!

Well , we got at 6 weeks she is 2 1/2 now and weighs about 60lbs, she is a malinois/sharpei mix , very loving , very energetic, playful, she loves playing fetch and tug of war. She'll play till you cant play o more. Lol.. but probably to much for small children , she could knock them down. She is good with other dogs, but my older black mouth cur is too dominant for her , we are afraid chiquita could be killed by her. We are very saddened by this, and can no longer risk it. We love her too much. She also needs a secure yard, with a strong fence. She is escape artist.

There dog was found and owners have tried to be found. He is very good with all of our pets (small shi-tzu and a cat) except my daughters dog doesn't get along with him so we need to find him a forever home ASAP. He is very loving and just wants to cuttle all the time. Loves to play and run so kids or an athletic adopter would be best.
