My name is Mitsey and I am an 8 year old sheltie/aussie mix. I had a very loving family who fell into circumstances where they made a very difficult decision to let TSCR find me a new forever family.
I get along with the 2 canine boys in my home but it has been an adjustment, They want to share beds and share toys and I think I may not be the sharing kind of girl. I make it work, but it was a little adjustment. I am tolerating the boys, but simply cannot do the kitties.
It took me a minute to get used to my new foster family and when the neighbor boys came over, I was very scared and apprehensive and did not want them to come see me. I am just not used to little humans or may have been tormented by them previously. If I am being honest here, I would love a home where I am the only little pillow princess with my adult family members.
I am crate trained and house broken. My current foster family does not crate me and I will go to my bed when told and sometime grab little naps under an end table. I do know how to sit and am working on “down”.
I do love a little spa time and love a good massage or belly run. I am currently 45#s and could lose a little weight. I am generally a great walk buddy, but if I see a squirrel or kitty, I hope you have a good hold on the leash as I am very strong and am definitely going to try and chase.
