Poppy is the sweetest dog! She has very quickly adapted to an indoor dog and the comforts of home. She loves tossing around stuffed toys, running zoomies, exploring the backyard perimeter, loving on the kitties, and prefers to relax where she can keep an eye on her human. Poppy is quite smart and learned how to use the doggy door just by watching the other dogs! She gently tells the puppies to slow down (little whippersnappers keep running into and jumping on her). Poppy's favorite thing is chewing on soft jerky treats...she is in heaven! She doesn't mind bathtime, rides well in the car, and walks well on a leash. She's really come out of her shell and shown what an adorable personality she has! ##581826##

Yuji has been with our family for 6 years. We picked him up from a Shiba rescue in Washington DC. He’s a quiet dog who loves attention but can also hang by himself. He loves his sister Emma and will protect her from other dogs because he has Napoleon complex.

He's been with us for a few months now and we were able to reassure him that people are good and will take good care of him. He was a sweet boy from the start, walking on the leash and eager to learn. Since being at the Rescue, Junior has become an exceptional dog with a super sweet personality and he is very smart. He will make an all around great family member! Story
Koda is a 5yr old energetic and loving pet! He’s a husky at heart, minus the size and talking. Koda gets along with people and other pets once he get’s familiar and comfortable with. He doesn’t do well with small children. (He had a traumatic experience with a small girl who wacked his head) He now holds a grudge to small children or anyone he feels threatened by.(like most huskies) Other than that his behavior is just like a husky! He loves attention, he barks & howls when he feels so, pulls on walks, chases after anything, makes funny faces, and so much more. He is fully potty trained, free fed, crate trained 4 years ago, but I no longer use one since he’s a Husky and needs his roaming space, he doesn’t chew or get into anything he shouldn’t. Unfortunately,I no longer have time or extra money to spend on my precious Koda, now that I have a baby. He’s the perfect pet for someone that has time for walks & play and lots of love and attention.
