This adorable fellow gets along well with other pups and would be happiest with another small dog to play and snuggle with. Pepper is a love bug but asks for patience and understanding as he learns to trust new people and places. Being foster home schooled, he is learning skills to be ready for you. He has been diagnosed with grade 4 luxating patellas on both back legs. Est. birthdate is 9/19/2017, 13 lbs., vaccinated, neutered and microchipped. Adoption fee $400.00. Cutest cuddle companion. Liam is an adorable Shih Tzu mix. At 2 years old, he weighs in at 14lbs, just the perfect fit for any lap! He is an affectionate, loyal and happy little chap. Already potty, crate and leash trained. Sporting the cutest ears ever seen, he can really turn on the charm with both ears up, he’s a real teddy bear! Liam is great with kids over 5 yrs, and dogs of a similar size. He will require a secure fence, walks and loves lots of attention. Liam is looking for a constant cuddle partner to set up home with. This is Boo... This old man spent his life as a breeder dog and is finally enjoying the good life. He’s around 10-12 years old and 15 lbs. Boo is a total sweetheart but is a little timid in new situations. He’s an older guy and prefers a calmer household. He does have some dry eye which is common for his breed. He gets artificial tears just like a human would get and that has helped tremendously. He does have vision loss but gets around well. We do think a laid back household without small children would be best since he hasn’t grown up around them and is a little timid with fast movements and stressful situations. He does well with other dogs but does prefer his own space and isn’t really a player. He prefers to lounge around with his people and be a couch potato. He also doesn’t mind cats. He does great in the house and kennel although he prefers not to be kenneled. He doesn’t mind a leash or the car. He’s utd, hw neg(tested below detectable levels) and is neutered. All dogs have a $150 adoption fee which includes vet check, age appropriate shots (atleast 2 sets for puppies), dewormer, heartworm test (if over 6 months), rabies (if atleast 16 weeks) and spay/neuter! Puppies/Dogs that are not available for adoption due to vetting not being complete can be reserved with an approved application and a non refundable $50 deposit. This deposit is applied to your adoption fee and the remaining $100 is due at pick up. Wags and Whiskers is an all-volunteer rescue. We also have full-time jobs and Families. We will try to answer all questions and applications in a timely manner. Please be patient and bear with us . Do not contact Parkway Animal Hospital as they are a vet clinic and can not answer questions on behalf of Wags and Whiskers. All questions and comments must go directly through the rescue. Gabbi is a 7 year old ShihTzu/Schnauzer mix and weighs 12.5 pounds. She is friendly and gets along well with cats and other dogs. Gabbi would be a good dog for anyone. She came into rescue when her owner went to a nursing home. Gabbi recently had surgery to remove bladder stones. She is healed, doing very well and is ready for adoption. Gabbi is special needs because she needs to be on C/D prescription dogfood so she will not develope new bladder stones in the future. Gabbi is spayed, fully vaccinated, heartworm negative and on monthly heartworm/flea preventive. Her adoption fee is a donation to the rescue in the amount of $450.
