I am neutered and up to date on my shots. I was 4DX tested and was negative. I am house and crate trained. I love to be held and I love lots of hugs. They tell me I'm super, super sweet! If your looking for a lap dog, I'm the one for you. I am also hypoallergenic too! I have hair not fur, so I will need grooming every 6-8 weeks. I prefer to be an only dog because I don't like to share my food with other dogs, humans okay, but no dogs! I am not sure about cats because I've never been around them, but I like kids. Cody is a 13 year old little guy very loving he was attacked by a coyote when he was one and had a back left leg amputated he gets around very well. Both of my boys are out of the house now and Cody spends most of the day alone. As he grows older medical issues are starting to arise and we are unable to financially cover his medical expenses. We want Cody in a home where he can live the remainder of his years happy and loved. He loves the outdoors and we live in an apartment on the third floor with no yard. He also loves the snow and playing in it. Please help us find a good home for Cody

Meet Adrie, this 12lb Shih Tzu is about 9 years old but is still very active and enjoys being around her people going on walks and rides. Adrie was found as a stray at an auto repair shop in pretty rough condition. Be sure to look through all her photos so that you can see her conditon when we scooped her up. Thankfully with some medical care a good bath and a haircut Adrie is looking and feeling much better! Adrie is a cheerful little dog who doesnt let life get her down. She deserves to find a home that is perfect for her, we think she would like a mellow life with an owner who is ready to give her plenty of attention. This is Charlie. He is approximately 11 years old, 17 1/2 pounds, neutered male. He is completely vetted. He is rabies and heartworm tested negative. He came to us in horrible condition from a high-volume shelter. He was found as a stray in New York City. He had stage 4/4 periodontal disease and with matting so severe, that he had to be anesthetized to be groomed. Now he is all shaved down and his teeth are all clean and he is ready to find his forever home. If you are an older couple or someone in a quiet home looking for a companion, Charlie is your boy. He is very, very attentive of his person and wants to be at your side always. He is a low energy very sweet boy. He is very polite with other dogs. Attached are before and after photos of Charlie. Matt likes dogs, going for walks and he's good in the tub. Matt is about 10 yrs old, 9 lbs, neutered, up to date on shots, heart worm negative, wormed and microchipped. Hi my name is Maxwell -- Max for short.  I am a senior southern gentleman of 13 years and I weigh about 12 lbs.  I have blossomed since coming to my foster home and am now ready to find my forever home.  I arrived a frail little thing with my bones sticking out, my fur in bad shape and I had a mouth full of nasty teeth.  All that is behind me now and I am a happy go lucky boy.  I have several senior buddies in my foster home and we all get along just fine.  It is nice to hang out and relax with them.  However I also love to smell and stroll around our fenced in yard.  I also enjoy going places with my foster mom and making new friends with other dogs and with people.  I am a social guy who does not meet a stranger.  I have learned to walk on a leash and I love to go.  I have also learned when it is time to eat and am a bit demanding when I try to 'patiently' wait for my breakfast or dinner.  It is kinda cute but a little noisy.  I am a very sweet boy who is looking for a forever mom and/or dad that just wants to take care of and love me for the rest of my life.  I come with a lot of love to give you in return.  I am a great little cuddle buddy and would love the opportunity to snuggle with you and watch TV and also snuggle right beside you when it is time to go to bed.  If you are looking for a loyal companion who is on the older side but still has a lot of life to live then you have found him.  My foster mom Miss Dawn and Miss Vivienne will confirm that there is nothing better than the love of a senior shih tzu.  If you have experience with senior dogs especially shih tzus please consider adding me to your family.  I am patiently waiting to hear from you.  Max is neutered, current on all his shots and microchipped.  To be considered for his forever family please contact Vivienne at viviennejames@comcast.net or 615-943-7311.  APPROVED APPLICATION AND ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED.  (Max is currently in Tennessee and can be transported north upon adoption.  Due to state regulations we are unable to adopt to residents of MA and RI.)
