Story
Bella just turned 4 in September of this year. She’s an indoors and outdoor cat. Gets along with my 4 year old pit bull , and doesn’t mind children. She loves to climb and scratch her nails on things. Loves treats and wants attention but on her terms. Very sweet and laid back. Has a set routine , but can adjust.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.found abandoned in the HEB parking lotMy name is Skittles and my foster mom found me abandoned in a HEB parking lot one day.  She asked around and people had been feeding me for a couple of years!  Once she caught me, she found out I ws microchipped, but when she located my owners, they had moved...and had left me behind.  So, being a cat, I found my way to HEB and relied on kind humans to feed me.  It took a while for me to trust my foster mom, and I'm still jump if you try to pet me too quickly.  Apparently, I wasn't treated all that great.Anyways, I think I'm ready to trust another human now.  I do get along with cats, but little children would probably make me nervous.  And my foster mom doesn't know about dogs since we don't have any here.  It'd be great if I could have my own family again, but I might take some tender, loving care at first.  Through my foster family, I've found out humans can be good....and a forever home would be awesome!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.

Story
Elliot A55848808Elliot is a handsome seal point Siamese male who was found as a stray and was born 5/2022. He is timid, so we recommend older kids if there are kids in the family and we don't know how he will do with other animals. Elliot has tested positive for FIV which stands for feline immunodeficiency virus. FIV typically causes a weakening of the cat's immune system. It is the same class of virus as HIV (a lentivirus); however, only cats can contract FIV, humans and dogs cannot contract FIV. The most common route of infection is a deep bite wound from an FIV positive cat to another cat. It can also be transmitted via blood as well as in utero and/or from the milk of an infected mother cat to her kittens. It is very rare for cats to get FIV just from being around infected cats, sharing food bowls, or from a person touching an FIV positive cat and then touching an FIV negative cat. Many FIV positive cats and FIV negative cats live together in the same home for years without spreading the virus to the non-infected cat(s). Since Elliot is a special needs cat, his adoption fee is waived by West Houston Subaru. (CC 5-13-2024)

Story
Walter is a beautiful blue point Siamese who is bonded with his brother Winston and must be adopted with him. He was adopted from CAP as a kitten and returned 3 years later due to allergies in the family. His previous owners state that he is easy-going, friendly, loves to be petted, and to cuddle. He has a moderate activity level and can be vocal when he wants something. He has exposure to kids of all ages. However, the only other animal that he has been around is his brother, Winston. He has been a bit unwary of the goings on at the shelter, it is busy after all, so he might need a little time to warm-up to you. Come visit these handsome brothers! (MD 05/10/24)
