My name is Mrs. Poppins from Korea and I am a wonderful 4 year old Female Maltese. I am 8 lbs. and so excited to find my new forever home.  I am a very happy, affectionate, and friendly dog who was just saved from the Korean slaughter farms. Korea kills 2.5 million dogs a year to be eaten.  I am so lucky to get a one-way ticket to Seattle to find my new family. Take me on car rides, walks in the park, and I will become your best friend.  I get along well with people of all ages, gentle kids, and other dogs.  I need a home with a fenced-in yard and will do best with a loving family that can give me lots of exercise, love, and affection!  On all overseas adoption, we highly recommend our pet rescue dog trainer who will come to your home and help train your new pup for only $75.  My adoption fee of $1395.. will cover my spay/neuter, DA2PP shots, Rabies, Bordetella, Deworm, Heart Worm Test, Grooming, Microchip, Boarding Fees, Health Certificate and airline transport cost from Korea to Seattle. A part of this adoption fee will also help us build our brand new 2 acre sanctuary. We are in need of building a new indoor barn for the dogs. The adoption fee is firm and helps cover medical expenses for our other rescue dogs in need of orthopedic surgery, urgent vet care, dental and teeth extractions, cherry eye removals, and more.  Donations are always appreciated to help pay down our vet bills at Greenwood Vet.  Ginger's Pet Rescue is a non-profit 501C-3 organization.

Story
HI - I'M SWEET PENELOPE! I'm a 10-year-old female Maltese and I weigh 7.8 lbs. I was brought to the shelter as a stray, and my owners never came for me. I'm a darling, easygoing girl who needs tender loving care. After I arrived at the shelter, I had a vaginal mass removed and multiple teeth extracted. I'm now, though, on the road to recovery and am doing great! I spend most of my day snuggled up in my warm, cozy bed. I have a cataract in my left eye and some clouding in my right eye, and per the vet I am on anti-inflammatory drops for the rest of my life. I may have some early signs of kidney disease but it's very early, and there's plenty of time to remedy that with a great diet! I need a home with someone who can watch over me and love me and make sure I get the love and caring that I need. Can you adopt me?   My adoption fee of $260 covers neuter, DA2PP shots, rabies, bordetella, heartworm test, microchip, health certificate, and other costs.
