Story
Animal Profile:  Taichi is an estimated 3-year-old, 38 lb "Pharaoh Hound mix" (according to the shelter, but we just call him a Hawaiian muttley) who was picked up as a stray on the highways of Kauai. He arrived at our rescue on 8/6/19 and has been looking for the right family for some time.  Seattle Foster Update: Taichi has done well with all other dogs in his foster homes and has learned great leash manners. He is a quiet dog, not a big barker, and good in the crate (so long as it's properly secured, otherwise he can get out!) Taichi is house trained and knows basic obedience. He enjoys snuggles and playtime with his person. Taichi can be cautious meeting new people and will need a confident owner who can provide structure and leadership. Taichi would do well with another dog in the home (although it's not a requirement) but does need an adult-only household. He is fine with cats! Good boy, Taichi. Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $500, which includes spay/neuter, current rabies/DAPPV/bordetella vaccinations, microchip, health certificate, and heartworm test. All adoption fees are donations to a Washington non-profit corporation and all donations go to benefit the animals in our rescue.  Apply online at www.DogGoneSeattle.org Animal History: This dog was transferred from an overcrowded shelter in Hawaii and will be available for adoption in Seattle once evaluated.

Jordan is a young guy from Australia. He is a delight and calm boy for his young age. He's very much a people dog and would love his own family. Jordan will need a home with a fenced yard and no cats.

Murtle is a happy, calm and loving girl. She's lived her life as a professional racer in Australia and raised her puppies. This jet setting girl is now retired and in a Seattle area foster home. She enjoys spending time and relaxing with her people, including children. She will need a home without small dogs or cats. A fenced yard is required to adopt Murtle.
