You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hey There! Thanks for coming to read all about me! My name is Zac, and as you can see I'm ridiculously handsome ha! I'm also super sweet, extremely happy go lucky, and love to give hugs and kisses! I enjoy snuggles and sitting on your lap, helping you read a book or watch your favorite show! My purr is soooo noisy because I'm soooo happy, I will never leave you wondering if I love you, because I already do and always will. I love to play with wand toys and fly HIGH in the air, I've discovered that if I jump and land on the bed I can bounce back up and thats an absolute blast! I do perfect kitty wiggle butts before pouncing, and my eyes get so big when I'm "hunting" that you won't be able to help but laugh! I love all creatures, though I haven't met a dog I have no doubt we would be tons of fun. I like other cats, but because I'm in my own space most of the time (will explain) I can sometimes be a bit overzealous in my initial excitement and end up upsetting another kitty. Part of me thinks thats why I might love a doggy friend too who likes to play with me and wouldn't be bothered by my excitement! Sadly, I am a special needs kitty and I think it's important that you know everything you need to know! I've been x'rayed and seen specialists, I've had the chance to grow up and see if there are some changes, and started some trial and error with foods to help me with my special need. The doctors are not SURE exactly what I have, but is essentially similar to a tail pull injury where I've lost some nerve function and control in my backend including both urinary and fecal incontinence. Here's the deal, with the help of the right food, pre and probiotics (could potentially not always require this) and a little laxative in my canned food I have become pretty regular with my poo's, and while I know to the box it doesn't always remain IN the box after I run out if you know what I mean. If I become irregular, I can sometimes leak as well so I know I can be a bit messy/smelly but I promise you I don't really understand that there is anythign wildly different about me! In my own room, I most often use my litter box! However, I tend to dribble as well, so have very small potty accidents. This could mean that nerve function is still improving as sometimes it can take up to a year, but unlikely I'd probably ever be perfect. Because of the leaking, it would be recommended for a once quarterly check for UTI/crystals in my urine to ensure that I am staying tip top healthy!! Foster mom manages this with daily spot cleaning with wipes, weekly cleaning of my room, as needed backend baths for me (daily wipes), and a circulation of easily washable blankets, and a little cleaning corner in my room to keep things simple, all of which she's happy to show you! I know I've got a lot going on, but my happiness and gratefulness make it all worth it I promise! As a result, our rescue organization would be happy to do a trial adoption with me where you can meet, discuss best practices with my current foster mom, and do 2 weeks in your home to make sure it is something you would be able to manage for my lifetime! Oh- I'm all fixed and up to date on all my shots, FIV negative and all the normal stuff is complete! So what I really need is for someone to see me for who I am, love me despite my flaws, and not mind putting in a little extra work for a return in boundless love from me! Please put in an application to meet me and get your initial questions answered, this does not bind you to anything other than learning a little more about me, and we can go from there! I KNOW my special people are out there!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Interested in adopting this lovable animal?
