He has attacked the other cats in the family, sending them to the vet, and he has bitten and scratched his humans. We didn't see this extreme behavior in his foster home, but quite often when cats go their permanent homes, a different side of their personality will come out. We will have to see what happens as he spends time back in his foster home.in the meantime, there are a couple of conditions for a new adopter:1. Austin area adoptions only.2. No other cats in house. Dogs may work out, but our dog chases him.3. She is becoming quite the quilting cat and loves to sit in her foster mom's studio and watch all the activity. Even though she is tabby, her personality is all Siamese. She loves to sit in on the window sill and watch the bees and hummingbirds. She also carries around the smaller soft cat toys and hides them under her bed. She isn't much of a lap cat but she enjoys getting her love while she is rubbing against your legs. Baby is vocal in the morning to remind you to feed her. She gets along with other cats. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Please contact Laura (ledier0@yahoo.com) for more information about this pet.Sweet and Loving SnowshoeCoco VIII is as beautiful on the inside as she is beautiful on the outside.  Her striking color pattern and piercing blue eyes will captivate you from the moment you see her.  She is a mature cat who lovingly raised her kittens before finding her way to Austin Siamese Rescue.  She acts much younger than her guesstimated age (even multiple vets really weren't sure of her age); she is as playful and friendly as the babies she's raised.  She's happy to bat her toys around the living room one minute, then climb onto your lap for snuggles the next.  And if kitty tongue bleps amuse you, Coco will constantly keep a smile on your face - she loves to stick her little pink tongue out at you and nuzzle you.  Coco adores attention and melts when you pet her.  She loves to cuddle and just wants to be near you.  Despite her beauty, she is rather hard to photograph - because she always tries to seek out petting and be near you!  She is great with other cats; she has not been exposed to dogs while in foster care, but she was sweet and gentle with the children she's met.  With her laid back, friendly personality, she should adapt to almost any household just fine.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.

She will sometimes hiss even though she likes being loved on so she is going to require some patience, but she has been making excellent progress with her socialization and is ready for a forever family.Flan would do best in a quiet home.  I do not think she would do well with dogs or very young children as she is very fearful.  She is fine around my 8 year old son so long as he stays calm and she seems to like visiting with my friendly cat.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.

Mariposa is a petite, lovely young retired mother, who loves attention with a big fast purr. She’s low key, low energy maybe more as she learns to socialize and play. She loves attention and rubs against your legs or jumps up for a lap. She’s a demure girl as she learns to trust and relax. In your lap or on the couch, she’ll roll around as she purrs showing her excitement and relaxes. She was a fantastic mother, rarely leaving the kittens and now she’s opening up. She’s ridiculously soft and loves all pets- chin, head, back scratches and lately even belly rubs with my foot. She’s OK being picked up briefly, but may squirm to get down.She`s progressing very well as she’s learning to socialize more without kittens. She has a big, quick purr… only occasionally making eye contact as she gains confidence but she never stops purring. She talks a little bit, chirps or trills and she has a very soft voice. She’s shy around new people and will come out from a cubby or under the couch after an ~hour or so for arm’s length pets when I push her over. She’ll need a patient or calm home as she startles easily with big noises or fast movements- like shaking out laundry or a crash if you drop something. She’ll scoot under something but never lashes out, just runs. She’ll come out after a bit and then back to normal. She’s come a long way and will need loving patience.She also loves to play and zoom. She loves mice, chases them to carry and throw… fast ping-pong balls, etc. She’s only gotten on the bed at night a couple of times before going back to her kittens but think she’ll warm up once they’re adopted.She`s perfect with the litter box and relaxed enough to let me trim all her nails without much fuss. She scratches a sisal cat tree very well. She met other big foster kittens here and was fine with them. She never met any children in foster and might be OK with children energy if given space. She never met a dog in foster but depending on the dog, she might be OK after slow introductions.
