Story
Jerry was an owner surrender because his owner's circumstances changed and he no longer had the place for him. He is a big fella - 122 pounds of love:) Jerry will absolutely make someone a terrific pet, he just has to get to know you first. He does things on his own time, and not a second before he's ready. He's around 4 years old and set in his ways, but to those of us whom he allows in his life, he's a sweetheart! He's great with people of all ages, most other dogs and is scared of cats lol?? We all love him to pieces, as you will too!

All adoptions are $200 per dog which include spay/neuter, micro-chipped and up-to-date on required shots. Senior dogs, at our discretion, are adopted out at $100 per dog because we know they will have less time with your family and may eventually have more needs as they get older. But we feel these dogs deserve to live out the rest of their lives as part of a loving family.

St. Bernard/Great Dane

Male, Senior
Council Bluffs, IA
Size
(when grown) X-Large 101 lbs (46 kg) or more
Details
Not good with kids, Good with dogs, House-trained,
Story
Kia’s previous owner needed to surrender him quickly. I took him into the vet right away, he is now up to date on all shots and had a negative heart-worm test. When we got him he had some alopecia which has cleared up and filled in nicely and is a little on the skinny side, we are guessing from age. He is a senior dog, I am not sure on his age, but he is older. At this point Kia is a huge LOVE, he is an old man that just wants a home that is super low key and he will be loved. He is house trained, I’ve had no issues with accidents in the house, he does not like stairs, walks, or being around a lot of people. He prefers to be next to you and loved on, he gets along well with my other dogs (Seniors also). I have caught him in the living room when no one is around rolling on his back playing. He has a very happy disposition and would make a great companion for the right person. I have never kenneled him and I believe his previous owner never did either.
