Story
Guapa was rescued from the streets of Mexico 2 months ago by a CT resident. She was a tick-filled skeleton with love for anyone who walked by. She followed Steph to her car and wouldn’t get out of the hwy, so she brought her back to America in hopes that she’d find a safer & better life. She is 3-4 years old, dewormed, UTD on vaccinations and negative for heart worm and ehrlichia. She LOVES all men, women and children (including rough toddlers and babies). She cannot be in a home with cats, but as seen in the video she can get along with certain dogs with proper training. She was abandoned and starving, so she’ll never let you forget that you are her hero! Naturally, she will be nervous at first when you leave her. She needs a patient family that understands she has some separation anxiety and needs time to trust (and integrate with) other dogs. She is the happiest dog in the world with people around, and never stops showing her thanks. She loves snuggling, walking, kissing and eating!
