Story
We would like to introduce two of our newest St. Bernards, Mickey and Minny. They are between 5 and 6 years old. They are an owner surrender, however, we do not know the reason they were surrendered. We do know they have lived together since they are puppies and we are not sure if they are related or not. Minnie is spayed and Mickey will be neutered soon. They are great together and in this particular case we would love it if they could go to a new home together. However, we understand that is a big request and we will consider applications for either one of these wonderful dogs. They are housetrained, active and do not have medical issues that we have found. They will be having their heartworm test and final vaccinations this Friday, November 22 as well as Mickey being neutered. Minnie reminds us of our Freckles, as well as other female Saints, that have the half masks. Both are adorable and both have a great disposition. Mickey does want to protect Minnie from other dogs which is cute at this point. We will not introducer either one of these dogs to our other dogs until Mickey has been neutered. This is a dynamic duo that would bring so much joy and love into any home. They are booth approximately 100 pounds with Mickey being the larger of the two. If you have room in your heart and in your home and have dreamed of Saint Bernards these two would make a perfect Christmas Holiday addition. In concern for families with small children, we will not adopt a dog to a home with any child under the age of 5. This is due to the large size of Saint Bernards and the safety of your children. Our Saint Bernards are not aggressive or mean in any way, they can just knock down children easily. If you would like to visit our pups please contact St. Cloud's Rescue at www.stcloudsrescue.org or call 972-679-5319. The first step in adopting from St. Cloud's Rescue is to complete an application. The application may be found OUR WEBSITE at www.stcloudsrescue.org. Please click on the application process, complete and then email it. Once the application has been sent please call us to confirm that we have received it. St.Cloud's Rescue maintains the right to deny applications to anyone for any reason we see fit. St. Cloud Rescue is a non-profit 501-c-3 organization. St. Clouds Rescue requires new owners to purchase a one year supply of heartworm preventative from us, which is at cost. We require a home visit prior to all placements. All our dogs must be microchipped at a cost of $20.00. There is a $250.00 donation fee. All dogs adopted through St Clouds Rescue must be indoors. St. Bernards can not tolerate the Texas heat.

Max is a gorgeous 3 year old full Saint Bernard owner surrender that has been loved and adored his whole life. He will do better as an only dog, however, he does get along with many dogs, just not every dog. Max is neutered, current on all vaccinations, housetrained and heartworm negative. He weighs approximately 110 pounds. He has a gorgeous, rough coat. He does better with female dogs than male dogs. If you are looking for a very loving Saint that has had the best of everything in his life, Max is the dog for you. In concern for families with small children, we will not adopt a dog to a home with any child under the age of 5. This is due to the large size of Saint Bernards and the safety of your children. Story
Mascara is a 1 ½ - 2 year old, female full Saint Bernard. Mascara was an owner surrender due to a family not being able to provide the necessary care Mascara needed. She will be spayed on February 26th. She is one of the most laid back and gentle Saints we have ever seen. Mascara weighs approximately 100 pounds. Her coat is breathtaking beautiful due to the black line, hence the name. that trails all of her brown hair around her whole body. She is housetrained, current on all vaccinations, heartworm negative and is looking for a person or family that will give her the love and attention she desires. She has lived with a Great Pyrenees. We have not yet introduced her to the dogs here, so I cannot say how she will be with all dogs at this time. If you want to meet this beautiful girl please fill out an application on our website www.stcloudsrescue.org . Story
Finn a gorgeous, approximately 2-3 year old, rough coat full Saint Bernard. He is very sweet and loving to all people. He weights approximately 110 lbs. He is neutered and current on all vaccinations, however, he is heart worm positive and will not be available for adoption until December, due to having his heartworm treatment. You may apply to adopt Finn and we are happy to show him and will accept a $50 deposit to hold him until he is ready to leave St. Cloud’s Rescue. He is microchipped. He is a very picky eater and we are working with him to gain weight. His low weight is due to his having tape worms which has now been resolved. He will make anyone a perfect new family member. As you can see from Finn’s picture he is so trusting he feel asleep while we were giving him a bath. Not many dogs are that trusting of people on the first day. In concern for families with small children, we will not adopt a dog to a home with any child under the age of 5. This is due to the large size of Saint Bernards and the safety of your children. Story
Meet Duck! This sweet boy is an active 1-2 yr old 70 pound Anatolian Shepherd with possibly some Great Pyrenees, hound, and Labrador Retriever mixed in. He has the most beautiful soulful eyes and appears to have webbed feet. Hence the name Duck aka Ducky. He was living outdoors in a rural area in Oklahoma with several other large similar breed dogs in less than desirable circumstances when surrendered by his elderly owner who could no longer care for them. In his foster home, he has quickly blossomed into a silly, goofy, pampered indoor pooch. He is currently living with 3 other dogs ranging in age and size from small to large and gets along great with everyone. Duck would love a home with another playful dog who can keep him company and show him the ropes in his new home so he can continue to gain confidence. A yard where he can explore, fetch his ball and squeaky toy, and do zoomies would be great too! He promises to keep yard squirrel free and his silliness is sure to make you smile! He loves being in the middle of whatever is going on and going for daily walks. He’s such a good boy. He rarely pulls on walks. When Duck can’t convince anyone to play with him, he entertains himself by chewing on his chew treats (bully sticks, bones, antlers, etc.). After walks and playing in the yard, he usually settles down nicely for a nap, tv time, or lounging. He is such a smart boy. He quickly aced crate and house training. He sleeps quietly through the night in his crate and is crated when his foster mom is not home. Duck quickly learned how to sit and will sit for treats, which he takes ever so gently. He also rides well in the car. Duck has a loud deep bark and is vocal whenever someone comes to the door and sometimes when playing - so he probably would not be well suited for apartment life. Because of his size and playfulness, he would do better in a home with adults and bigger kiddos. He has not been cat tested. He gets excited whenever he sees a cat on walks, especially if they run, so he might not be good in a home with cats. His fur is soft, short, and low maintenance. Duck is neutered, vaccinated, heartworm negative, up to date on heartworm and flea/tick medications, and ready for his forever home. Apply today to meet this handsome boy (but be warned... he'll steal your heart), by starting submitting the adoption application found at www.dfwrescueme.org/adopt.  Once submitted, the foster will contact you to tell you more, and to arrange a meeting! The adoption fee for all of our dogs is $250.00, which includes their vaccinations and spay/neuter. Duck is participating in the DFW Rescue Me Guest Dog Program, so custody and ongoing care are provided by the foster, not by DFWRM.
