This is Walter. He is a magnificent, Standard Poodle. He is approximately 75 pounds and 15 months old. He has the temperament of a lamb. He is good with other dogs. We will place him in a home with a female dog only. He walks on a leash and rides well in the car. His eyes water and the Veterinarian said this is not a problem, it’s a condition that cannot be corrected but can be controlled with some eye drops.

Gentleman was adopted to help my daughter with anxiety but I had no idea he also had anxiety and nothing has helped. My daughter is working on herself and is unable to care for him. I am unable to properly care for him because I’m always gone. I don’t want to take him to a shelter because he’ll be afraid and I can’t handle that. Also it’s been financially stressful for her to care for him.

Tiny Phillip was rescued from the Riverside Shelter by Lovebugs Rescue.Phillip was on the rescue-only list because he is 10 years old and has a few minor medical issues. He happily greeted us with a tail wag at the front of his kennel. Phillip weighs just 5 lbs and we can already tell he craves being with the ones he loves. He preferred sitting comfortably in the passenger seat on his freedom right, and sat like a little prince the whole way home! We can't wait to see this handsome boy's transformation. Teddy was adopted about 8 years ago from Irvine Pet Center and has been a great dog. Unfortunately where we live, we have been asked to get another home for him because he is too big. There is a weight limit on dogs in our community. He must go by the end of the month or we have to put him down. He has all his shots, been neutered and has his up to date dog license. He loves to be petted and to go for walks. I feed him once per day and groom his about once a month. He was just groomed yesterday, 3/2/19. He is such a loving dog and we will miss him badly. He is best with adults. He needs a home that he will be loved!

Story
Lulu is a very sweet, 5 year old, 12lbs Yorkiepoo. She is an absolute love, will literally follow you everywhere and never stops cuddling. In fact, she can be a bit needy at times with the snuggling. She just craves love and can never get enough. She is very quiet, well behaved, housebroken and crate trained. She gets along with other dogs and cats but doesn't have any interest in playing with them. She really just loves her person. She is a little nervous meeting new people and is just a nervous dog in general. She cowers at loud noises and when people move too fast but she is always sweet and never lashes out even when she is scared. Lulu has mild allergies and can get itchy at times but she doesn't require medications as of now. Her ears do need to be flushed regularly to keep yeast down though, especially since she doesn't have very open ear canals. She also will require regular grooms and brushing to keep her hair from matting. Lulu is totally worth it though. Visit our website at www.dominoeffectanimalrescue.org to fill out an application.
