Due to the Coronovirus COVID 19 and the disruption to our daily lives, we are not accepting applications from further than 2 hours from Zip Code 44044 effective immediately. Once life is back to normal, this restriction will be lifted. Thank you for your cooperation. * * * * * * * * Annie is a Purebred Standard Poodle, approximately 1 year old and a rescue from a puppy mill. She is a sweet soul but very timid around males and would probably be happiest in an all female home. She has made strides in her foster home being around males. Her DAILY walks are provided by her foster dad and all treats are handed out by her foster brothers but, it is still a struggle for her to feel comfortable around them. It will take a very patient and loving family to bring her out of her shell. We see glimpses of the fun loving dog that is buried inside and her really wanting to trust and relax. She is moving in the right direction, she is right there; it is just going to take time to erase the bad and replace it with good. Annie is housebroken and crate trained. She spends most of her time out of the crate as she does very well unattended in the home. She defers to cats and has been sweet to the few people she has met during her time with her foster family. She would do well to have another dog in the home as she is still learning how to be one and she really enjoys letting loose playing outdoors with a fury friend. She walks fairly well on a leash but tends to pull when first setting out on a walk. She plays with toys more and more and enjoys Nyla-bones and treats. She doesn’t yet know any commands but they are working on sit and if you tell her to wait and slowly approach, she will stay and let you come to her. She recently learned how to go in and out of a door without be led. age: 1 year adoption fee: $400

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Leia is not a Rose's Rescue dog-DO NOT CONTACT THE RESCUEMeet Leia, a beautiful Goldendoodle who is almost 3 years old. She, however, is more standard poodle than Golden Retriever and resembles a Standard Poodle. Leia is a very, very sweet and loving dog who loves to play and cuddle, learns quickly, and is eager to please, however she is a big girl and is very, very active. She does not do well with small children. She gets along well with other dogs, but is too large and rambunctious to be around very small dogs. She is untested with cats. Leia needs a home with a fenced yard that is at least 6 foot tall. She is very tall, active, and strong making it easy for her to jump over smaller fences. Leia is leash trained and loves to go on long walks. With those long legs, she walks very quickly and would even enjoy going on jogs with an active person. Leia is spayed, heartworm negative, and up-to-date on all her shots. We will be looking for a very special home for this girl. Not every home has the ability to provide the proper environment for a dog this large and this active.
