Story
Introducing Jewel LL (only available local to San Antonio, Texas, area due to initial shy nature) Kermit the Frog says it ain't easy being green, but I will tell ya what ain't easy. Being super floofy adorable. I am sure it is some sorta witchy warlock curse that the cats put on me to torment me. When you are this floofy and look like a mop with googely eyes pasted on, everyone and their Mother wants to give you the rubs down. No thanks. That's right. No thanks. I am not a floozy tramp like some dogs, I am not just gonna flop down and show my belly for a good time like some dogs. Not naming any names, but starts with a Duh and ends with an AZ. If you want a trollup of a dog that will let any Tom, Dick or Harry rubs her tummy, put in an app for Daisy aks Dancer SL, she will let anyone rub her. Me, I consider myself a precious jewel. Like a diamond I was made under immense pressure. I prefer to choose one person and be committed to them. I will be all about my person once I feel safe with them. I am not all kissy kissy, but I will happily warm your feet from now until the cows come home, pawverbial speaking, I don't expect you to really have cows. I came from a hoarding situation and have been in Foster Care for a while now learning all about how to be a dog. Dogging 101, doggy boot camp, doggy rehabuttlitation. I have come a llooooooonnnnggg way and I am ready for a home, finally. I LOVE my Foster Family and I will miss them thisssssssssssss much, but I know they need room to save the next scared doggy, so I am ready to move on out. Plus the cats have all signed a petition to have me removed from the premisssssses. Foster Mom can send you a video, when I am playing with my dog friends, I look totally normal. I have romped with dogs as young as 8 months and rested with old hags about 9 years old. But I do require slow intros to both people and dogs. I do much better around other dogs when I am the largest in the crew. When I am around smaller dogs, I don't feel intimid....intimuttdated, so I like that. I do have one major thing in common with Alf, the alien from the 1980's sitcom, okay two things, we are both fluffy, but the thing I am refurring to is our desire to eat cats. Foster Mom had to create a Fort Knox of baby gates to keep me away from her cats. C'mon girl, just one taste! Needless to say, I need a non-cat home as purrrrr Foster Mom. I am kennel, potty and leash trained. I am about 4 years old and 30-35 pounds depending on the hair day. Humidity can make me look 10 pounds heavier, am I right? I came from a hoarding sidge where there were Sharpeis and Poodles and Terriers, so I most identify as a Border Terrier, but likely am a mix of a whole lot of stuff. I am available for a local adopter (near San Antonio, Texas) area. Why? Foster Mom feels I am a flight risk since I do not do well in new unfurmiliar areas. She even refurmends, you take me out leashed in your own yard until I understand that it is my home. I am leaps and bounds better than we I was first rescued, but you will need to talk to my current Foster Moms to understand all the precautions necessary to get me to know you are my new safe place. You don't want me to go all "Julia Roberts in Runaway Bride and run away from you, now do you? Basics: Jewel LL- female, 4 years, 30 lbs, Border Terrier/SharPei/Poodle mix, good with dogs, not good with cats, don't recommend for kids either due to hand shyness, blonde, sweet but shy, came from a hoarding situation so she will need extra patience and time to decompress and settle but once she does, she will LOVE you, potty/leash trained Local adoption fee $3500.00 (within Texas) Out of State adoption fee $600.00 with transport out of Texas
