If you would like to apply to take The sofa sitters home, click the link next to their picture, or Visit our website at Www.godogsgorescue.org and fill out an application! We look forward to hearing from you. Cuteness alert!!! If you are looking for a very low key, quiet pair of dogs, Tucker and Tanner are the dogs for you. They are a bonded pair, meaning they love and take care of each other like brothers. Both came from a hoarding situation...they were fed, but not socialized with people very much. Both of the boys like being around people but are very shy about being touched until they are very used to the person. They have been together in their current foster home for six months and have made progress in this area. They most enjoy sitting on the sofa near the family members, going outside in the backyard, and will take treats when they feel comfortable with the people. They are house-trained as long as they are kept on a schedule and are really easy-going and calm as long as their environment is routine and peaceful. They will require a home without small children with people who are willing to accept their quirky behaviors and patiently work with them to help them gain confidence and trust. They are good with other dogs, and can be cat-tested if needed. Watching the love between them has been a thing of wonder for their foster family and watching the progress they’ve made so far has been very rewarding. If you are the family that Tanner and Tucker need to live their best lives, please e-mail us at Go Dogs Go Rescue.

Story
Meet Crosby.  He is a 5 year old schnauzer mix who weighs about 35 lbs.  He was a found as a stray and ended up in a rural Arkansas shelter.  Poor Crosby was on 'the' list.  We could not let that happen and arrangements were made to get Crosby to Nashville.  He has obviously been a pet as he fit right in with his foster mom and brother and made himself right at home.  Crosby is a vet sweet boy.  He is good with other dogs and he loves people.  He loves to be up on the sofa with you and follows his foster mom around.  Crosby walks well on a leash and he rides OK in the car.  He could improve in that area though.  Crosby is also housebroken and tolerates the crate.  he does not mind being walked on a leash to do his 'business' and loves to go for walks.  He could live in a home without a fenced in yard as he is an escape artist and will test any fence to see if he can get out.  SO better to be on the leash and mark escaping off the list.  This sweet boy is ready for his forever family.  He is neutered, current on all his shots and microchipped.  To be considered for his forever family please contact Vivienne at viviennejames@comcast.net or 615-943-7311.  APPROVED APPLICATION AND ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED.  (Crosby is in Nashville and can be transported to the northeast upon adoption.  Due to state regulations we are unable to adopt to residents of MA and RI.)
