Prospective adopters must be able to travel to San Antonio to complete the adoption process. ** Mason is a 3-year-old Schnauzer and Terrier blend. He is a sweet and calm boy who initially may be shy but he quickly warms up when shown affection. This handsome boy was suffering from extreme neglect and dehydration when he entered a South Texas shelter. After receiving veterinarian care and a quality diet, Mason is now a healthy and happy boy! Mason is heartworm negative. Please understand you are committing to providing a good home for his entire life (up to 15+ years or more.) You must be committed to housebreaking, age-appropriate enrichment and exercise, leash training, grooming needs, and positive socialization. His adoption fee is $200. This includes his neuter surgery, DhPPv vaccination, rabies vaccination, deworming, heartworm prevention, microchip, leash and collar, and 30-days of pet health insurance. Please be aware that puppies and small breed dogs do get adopted quickly so interested parties are encouraged to apply online at www.saspca.org. Our adoption events are held each Saturday at Petco located in the Northwoods Shopping Center at 18138 San Pedro Ave, San Antonio TX 78232. Our group focuses on assisting open admission shelters in South Texas where over 32,000 dogs and cats are euthanized each year.Our puppies and dogs are completely vetted and live in foster homes. They are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and tested for heartworm disease.All adoptions include one month of flea and heartworm preventative, leash and collar, and a 30-day trial of 24PetWatch Pet Insurance.
