Story
Walden is very laid-back and sweet. He loves to cuddle. He's potty-trained and very well-behaved. Walden is skinny, his legs are long and his tail is bent, but it's so cute when it wags! He's a very sweet boy who loves to be held and he adores squeaky toys! He would do best in a home with a low energy dog or no dog at all. He gets carsick easily and we are working on that. Walden was lost and Camo rescue took him in. He is about 2 years old and weighs 15 pounds. He is selective about the dogs he likes. He is ok with cats. Adoption Fee: $300 plus 8.25% sales tax All dogs are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped. Adoption Application: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/CAMO/Dog

Story
Zeus’s family got him for their teenage daughter when he was just a tiny puppy. When the mom began suffering from an allergic reaction to dog hair, Zeus had to live outside. In September 2018, when the daughter left to go to college, Zeus was surrendered to Emmy’s Hope Rescue.  He was covered in fleas, causing severe itching and scratching, hair loss, and scabs on his skin. Zeus also developed a Cherry Eye, a condition which causes a dog’s tear gland to protrude from the eye socket. He will be treated with eye medicine first, to hopefully avoid surgery. Zeus is nervous in new places, but is friendly with new people. He has had limited exposure to other dogs but is learning to socialize with small dogs at the Rescue and to be respectful to cats, too. Zeus is a very sweet boy and just needs a family who has patience and lots of love to share. Estimated birthdate:  September 2017 Approximate weight:  14 lbs. If you would like to meet Zeus, please call or text Stephanie at  281-622-6549. ADOPTION  CRITERIA  To qualify to adopt from Emmy’s Hope Rescue,  YOU MUST HAVE ALL 4 QUALIFIERS:  1. You must live in the Houston area (no more than an hour away).  2. You must be at least 21 years or older.  3. You must have a fenced yard. Fencing must touch the ground all the way around the yard and we recommend  pavement stones under the gates.  4. You must have at least 2 years of good vet history with current and / or past pets (including: up-to-date Rabies & DHPP vaccinations, annual negative heartworm testing and using a monthly heart worm preventative).
