Story
Rescue Story: I came to Zoe’s as a wee kitten. I was adopted and returned after 2 years through no fault of my own. I’ve been by my sisters side this whole time. Date of Birth: June 2016 Energy Level: Medium Size (adult): Medium Good with Dogs? Yes Think ok – I was friendly with dogs when I was a kitten but haven’t been around any lately Good with Cats? Yes Eh some cats I like, others... not so much. But I do love my sister Wednesday and must be adopted with her. Good with Kids? Yes Especially if gentle. Critter Twitter: Meow to you! My name is Merlina, or Mermaid. My foster mom gave me that stupid nickname. I’m a sweet girl who like to chill, be where you are, get pets and hang out with my sister Miss Wednesday. We like to curl up in a ball together and are pretty much the cutest. My foster mom says that me and my sister have short little hobbit bodies. How rude. I like to climb and explore and bird watch and look out windows. I’m very affectionate but I’m the more independent women of this twosome. About my Behaviour: The foster kittens here are tolerable but me and my sis kind of bully the other adult cats. They looked at me funny and had it coming. So anyways, please adopt me and my sis Wednesday. How’s my Health? Healthy, vaccinated, spayed and microchipped.

Story
Rescue Story: I wasn't wanted by my original owners so I came into care with Zoe’s and won the award of “longest in care” when I was adopted after 610 days! Sadly, I was returned 9 months later, so I still need to find a forever home. Date of Birth: 2009 Energy Level: Medium Size (adult): Large (I'm a bit overweight right now, yes.. again... but I'm on a diet!) Good with Dogs? No Good with Cats? No Good with Kids? No Critter Twitter: I had a rough start in life, but now that I am in foster care, I am just the happiest guy. I love naps and windows and to be brushed and petted. And I really, really love catnip pillows. They are just the best! My nose gets all wrinkly when I show the pillow who is boss! My purr is very loud and I enjoy being kissed on the forehead. I just want to be loved. Look at my gorgeous markings? How can you resist me? #orangeboy #sweetheart About my Behaviour: I would do best in a calm home with no kids and as an only pet. Most of the time I just love to be in the same room as my people, but if it’s been a while since I’ve seen them, I crawl right up on them and give them the biggest cuddles and head bumps and snuggle in for a rest. I do get lonely and cry sometimes if I can hear my people but can’t get to them for some reason. I currently have two large (i'm not fat anymore but still a big boy) litter boxes that are cleaned daily and this makes me very happy. How’s my Health? I am neutered, microchipped and vaccinated. I was in remission from diabetes, but had a relapse when I was taken off my diet and became grossly overweight again. I am now in remission again, yay, but it is imperative that I continue my diabetic diet and never get overweight again. I am a long-term in care/special needs kitty, as such my adoption fee is, whatever you wish to donate to help cover the cost of my vet bills while I was in care.

Story
Rescue Story: I was surrendered with my mama when my owner no longer had housing. Date of Birth: October 2016 Energy Level: Medium Size (adult): Medium Good with Dogs? Unknown Probably only with very calm dogs, if any. Good with Cats? Unknown 'm not a big fan. Perhaps an older, lazy cat would be okay with very slow introductions. Good with Kids? Unknown Only if they are okay with me not being picked up Critter Twitter: I'm Minou and I look like a sleek Egyptian queen! I like to play but my babies are so active, that I tend to sit back and watch rather than getting in on the action. #queen #beauty About my Behaviour: I'm hesitant in new situations and will growl when I get scared (to show everyone that I'm boss) but I'm really as sweet as can be. I love to rub up against human legs and get head and neck scritches. I do not like to be picked up because that is scary, so I will squirm until you put me down. I will sit next to you and purr wildly if you pet me. I love sitting in open windows and sniffing the fresh air, but will growl at the neighbours if I see them. Consider me your watchdog-cat! Oh and the more catnip you are willing to provide, the more I will love you! How’s my Health? I am spayed, dewormed, microchipped and vaccinated.
