Story
Butterscotch or Butters as she's often called is one of the sweetest, softest cats you will ever meet. She is very shy at first, but once she warns up to you, she is very cuddly. I originally adopted her after getting another pair of kittens because I felt badly nobody had yet adopted her. Three cats has proven too much, with her behavior issues. Her issue is that she occasionally pees JUST outside the litter box. I do not think she does this intentionally, I believe she prefers to go at the very edge and is accidentally going outside. I have taken her to the vet multiple times and they agree it is just behavioral, as she also has peed on blankets or dirty clothes left on the floor. As my husband and I are looking for a new house, we cannot risk bringing her with us. Because of the urinating, she may do better in a home being the only cat, but she plays well and gets along with other cats, and was with dogs before I got her. I've never rehome a pet; I just hope to find a loving home.
