Story
Pumpkin is a young guy that has been known to be quite the sour-patch kid here at the shelter. He has a spunky personality and likes to wrestle with the other guys in the cat room. After wrestling, you will find him cleaning and loving on the cats that he just wrestled with. Pumpkin is not only the color of an actual pumpkin, but he is also about as round as a pumpkin too. He could really use a home where he has buddies to play with, room to run, and a strict diet to follow. If you are looking for a new addition to your kitty crew, Pumpkin is your guy!All cats are litter box trained, spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped.Apply: www.duboiscountyhumane.org/apply.htmlAdoption Fee: $40Visit Tuesday-Friday 12-6pm and Saturday 9-12pm EST at 426 Wernsing Road in Jasper, IN 47546. Story
Sheba is a beautiful long haired orange female that is a teeny-tiny 5lbs. She was found as a stray with her male companion and ages were unknown. Since coming into our care, we believe that she is older than what was originally guessed. She brings a smile to everyone's face because of her tremendously beautiful crossed eyes. Sheba is a bit shy and will require a quiet home where she can hide and come out for love as she pleases. She does love head-rubs, being petted, chicken baby food, and a safe place to get away from the craziness. If you are looking for a laid-back, quiet companion, then Sheba might just be your girl! All cats are litter box trained, spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped.Apply: www.duboiscountyhumane.org/apply.htmlAdoption Fee: $40Visit Tuesday-Friday 12-6pm and Saturday 9-12pm EST at 426 Wernsing Road in Jasper, IN 47546. Story
Meet Bernard! He has beautiful green eyes and a soft coat. He would love to keep your lap warm on these chilly spring days. He is very loving but waits for you to make the first move towards being friends. Bernard is here with his brother Walter. Both were adopted as kittens and returned as adults due to no fault of their own. The dogs in the household were rambunctious and didn't respect Bernard and Walter's space. If you have room in your home and in your heart for a new best friend, Bernard would love to meet you!
