Story
Let me introduce myself...my name is Gloria, and my foster mom calls me her little snuggle bug. I am as sweet as they come and I give the most amazing hugs! I love my people, big and small, and just wants to be as close to you as I can be. Sometimes even on your lap!! I love the outdoors and would be out there all the time if I could be, enjoying the fresh air and chasing squirrels. I do enjoy telling them off, too!! I get along with other small, laid back, submissive fur-friends...but I do like to be the boss in the house. I don't like other dogs getting up in my business, and I like to make friends on my terms. It’s best if fur friends are introduced slowly, just to ensure it goes smoothly and is a positive experience for us all. I also likes to make sure other dogs know I’m there when out on walks, and can pull on my leash while I chat with passers by. I don’t think I have been around cats that I know of, but could likely tolerate a dog savvy cat if introduced gradually. I can be sensitive having my paws handled, and do not like having my belly/paws dried off with a towel. However, with patience and positive reinforcement, my new family could work on building my trust so that I could become more accepting of this type of handling. Foster mom thinks I may also be allergic to poultry protein and I become quite itchy if I have some. My foster mom has removed poultry protein from my diet and my itching doesn’t seem to be quite as bad. Despite my quirks, I am an awesome little pup (so says my FM), and will fill your home with so much love.
