Story
Katie is a VERY pretty hound, but we have to admit she is on the heavy site. Her owner turned her in and we just recently noticed some seizure activity. Our Vet put her on medication and it seems to help, we have not seen an other one since. It probably would help if she looses weight. Katie is a lazy hound and would be perfectly happy sitting with you watching TV. Ark Rescue dogs are available for adoption to homes in the Alabama and Tennessee Valley area only. We do require a secure fenced-in yard to adopt our larger dogs.

Molly has training as a working dog. She is 4 years old October 2019. She is a gentle sweet soul with a sensitive nature. She is gun shy to shotguns and had some training as a Search and Rescue Dog. She is house trained to use a doggy door and has never messed in my home. Molly is complete on all vaccinations, microchipped and spayed. She is healthy and happy and in need of a loving home that understands her sensitive nature.

My daughter and I adopted a female mixed breed (Molly) back in 2012 and a few months later one of our neighbors saw us playing with her outside. She came out of her home to talk with us and see if we might be interested in adopting a little Beagle puppy that she had brought home a few days previously. She already had 3 cats in her small home and they were terrified of the dog, so she needed to re-home him. We agreed to take him in because Molly needed a companion and he was just too cute for my daughter to turn away! I immediately began to refer to the little guy as "the puppy" and the name stuck.. My daughter and I both agree that the name "Bubba" would also fit because he seems to be a "country" dog. We live in a small apartment, so both of our dogs have had to spend a lot of time in a cramped environment. I have no doubt that Puppy would much rather spend the majority of his time outside. He would make a great companion for any owner who enjoys outdoor activities!
