Story
We got the dog from a rescue about 3 years ago.she was about 3 years old. At that time she was house broke but very skidish around other people. She was also a little protective of my wife. She has come a long way. She is good with my grand kids and very alert when a stranger comes in the house. She is good at dog parks and in public places. My daughter got a dog about 6 months ago and she finally learned how to play with other dogs. It seemed like she wasn't around other animals as a young dog. But seems to catching on to the idea. My wife takes her running on the weekends any where from 2 to 3 miles. She needs a place with a yard and really needs to go for walks on a regular basis. She is a cuddlier and has not been fed people food as of now. We have come to find out that she may not be ok with other dogs living in the same house. My wife has been transferred to Indonesia for 2 years. We don't want yo put her back in a Kennel . Please take chance She is a good Dog

Story
Dot is a very sweet senior girl. We rescued her about 5 years ago. We are both facing medical issues which are preventing us from giving Dot the thing she enjoys most. She loves her walks! A stroke for one of us and arthritic knees with maybe knee replacements for the other means we cannot do this for her anymore. She looks forward to her walks. She is good on a leash, rarely pulls but does love to stop to smell everything. She is in good health. She would do well in a house with a doggie door. We need one here to help us take care of her but we can not put one in. She rarely barks but will whine to let you know she needs something. She is trained to not get on the furniture or bed. She would like a calm home. She does not like thunder and lightening storms. She loves to be outside for her walks but otherwise she prefers to be indoors. She does not like dog parks. Probably because she has to go in with the bigger dogs and she does not like it when they all descend on her at once!
