Story
Nala is 1 year old. We have had her since she was 6 weeks. She is not getting along with our older dog we have had for 11 years. She’s great with our daughter and would be a good family dog. Might be better with a male companion dog. I think since my older dog is female that might be an issue.

Story
Finn was adopted by my family on Jan. 6th 2018 from the Humane Society of Idaho. We were looking for a good companion for a companion for our dog and a good family dog for the kids. He has turned out to be more of a handful than we bargained for, though we tried diligently to make it work. Finn is house-trained, though he has shown that he would be better suited to being an outdoor dog with open spaces to run and exercise. He hasn't been trained as a hunting dog, though that is in both his breeds (pointer and coonhound). He needs an experienced dog owner who, ideally, has room for him to run and play, and maybe do what he was bred to do. I noted that he has behavioral issues, but those all center around the fact that we can't give Finn the room he needs to explore. He gets bored and gets into mischief. He is great with kids and with other dogs but can get defensive and possessive with bones, rawhide, etc. Uknown how he would behave with other pets.
