Story
Bandit is a very cool and laid back boy. He was originally in a high kill shelter, he seems to love all humans and he is good with most dogs, all female dogs and most males. He loves to may around and be lazy but he also likes to be close by and he also engages in play with the dogs. Bandit would make a wonderful companion.

Story
Estimated Birthday: October 2012 Estimated Weight: 65 lbs Gus is a sweet, sometimes vocal Treeing Walker Coonhound, who is still quite active for his age. As a curious hound, he likes to get into everything, just like a little (big!) pup. He is doing well learning to live in a home. He needs quite a bit of structure and training yet. Gus is very prey driven, so he cannot live with cats. He seems to do well with other dogs. He is very loving, and can be clingy to his person. Gus has quite the personality and a thirst for adventure. He is doing great with house and crate training. We try to limit our travel time for home visits to a two-hour driving range (about 75 miles) from Morganton, NC. Please visit http://www.abetterlifeanimalrescue.com/adopt-a-pet.html for an adoption application. Adoption: $100

Size: Large Estimated DOB: March 2018 More about Bristol: Very sweet and loving. Needs to be the only dog. Not aggressive towards other dogs but weary of them. Or may be ok with one that is chill and doesn't mind a pup. Does well with children. Probably safe to say no cats! Bristol is vocal. Does well on leash, pulls just a bit. Doing well with house training. We try to limit our travel time for home visits to a two-hour driving range (about 75 miles) from Morganton, NC. Sadie needs a FOSTER or FOREVER home!! We try to limit our travel time for home visits to a two-hour driving range (about 75 miles) from Morganton, NC. Story
DOB: 5/1/10 Weight: 65 lbs Joe is a sweet and loving big boy who loves attention. He loves to wallow and rub on you to show that he loves you and wants to be loved on. As most hounds, he does have a loud bark or bellow when something like birds, cats, or other dogs catch his attention. He does excellent on a leash and well in a car. Joe needs to be the only furry baby in a home. We try to limit our travel time for home visits to a two-hour driving range (about 75 miles) from Morganton, NC. Story
Do you know someone who doesn't have a sweet loving dog but could use one? Possibly an older person on some land off the road? Cade (Older Female Treeing Walker Coonhound) loves sleeping on the front covered porch and wants to come inside, but not sure if she's an inside dog or not (she showed up at our house a couple weeks ago)... have also taken her on rides and she seems to be a good rider... I think she would be best in a home that doesn't have any animals, but I could be wrong, she just doesn't like our female dog (maybe bc inside, so jealous)... just want her to be loved and NOT tied up or in a lot because she is VERY sweet and loving and deserves a wonderful home...
