A disabled lady reached out to me and hopes to help rehome her dog as they move and do not have a fence!! He needs to be neutered! He is located in Canyon Lake Tx His name is Sir.Kane He’s a walking tree climbing hound.3years old. Not neutered. He need a large fenced yard to run. He is good with other dogs, but not good w small children who try and grab him! or cats. He can be very protective as he is a great watch dog. Very full of life and loves to play. Hes a lap dog. Callie is an eight-year-old Walker hound looking for a good home. She's spayed, utd on shots and heartworm negative. Okay with other dogs, but no cats please. Callie's breeder is unknown, but she was rescued from the Houston area of Texas. Thousands of dogs just like Callie die every day in kill shelters in the U.S. because there aren't enough homes for them. Please consider giving one of these great hounds a chance to show you what great companions they make. And shame on the breeders who create so many of these dogs that end up on death row!

"Repo" is a purebred Walker Hound male, born in January of 2009. He is neutered, heartworm negative, micro-chipped and up to date on shots. This boy is a blast for anyone with a sense of humor. Repo thinks his food bowl is a hockey puck, and he treats it accordingly. He can amuse himself for hours, playing with his bowl, tossing it up in the air or scooting it along the ground. Repo would be happy as a little clam to be adopted by someone with a good arm and several Frisbees at his disposal. Repo came to us from San Antonio. Breeder unknown.

"Victor" is a purebred Walker hound. He was born in 2007 and rescued from an abusive situation in San Antonio, Tx. Victor is neutered, current on vaccinations, micro-chipped and crate trained. He's good with most other dogs, not cats, and great with children of all ages. Victor would like a home in the country where he can exercise his vocal cords and scare off predators that typically raid chicken coops during the night. He absolutely must have a fenced yard of his own, however, because he's a scent hound, born to track hot or cold and not stop until overcome by exhaustion. Victor's breeder is unknown.

Purebred Walker .Gorgeous sweet dog, 1 year old. Great family & hunting companion.Was our pick from the litter. We still have mom & dad- both retired as family pets. Both mom and dad come from longline of champions . They have won many competitions. Trophy has been raised from pup around our children . We hoped to hunt/show him. But do not have the time needed.Hoping to find a forever home for this beautiful,sweet laid back dog. Was inside as a puppy. Listens and behaves well. We live in the country, he is outside and not confined in a fence or on a leash. He does not leave the house area and is outdoor trained. Example:Will not chew or get into trash, run off .He will occasionally pick up scents and tree and stays tree until picked up , loves to climb and be pet. This breed needs/wants to be primarily outdoors , but loves to be inside to sleep if you prefer . He likes both options. Reach out if you have any questions. Thanks you.

Story
Ozzie is a 2 year old basset hound mix (with Beagle, I suspect). He was abandoned by his owner and surrendered to Animal Care Services on 2/21/2018. He's house trained, walks well with loose leash, and unless he sees a dog, he doesn't bark--perfect for apartment rentals. He is affectionate, likes his walks, will play with most toys, especially a Kong. He does well with other humans, prefers small dog companions, and he's "meh" around kitties, and good with children. Ozzie is neutered, and healthy (vet visit on March 14, 2020 @ Vca Becker Hospital. Fully vaccinated. I'm giving him up due to my work schedule as I wont be able to give him the love he deserves to have (which is all the time, if I'm being honest). He's still a puppy, learning what to and not to do, but he's mild mannered and calmer than most dogs.
