Story
Sage is a 5 year old hound, about 65 lbs. She is very sweet normally but unfortunately she bit another dog in my neighborhood and I can no longer keep her. She would do best as an only dog. She's very smart and loves to snuggle. She's housebroken and only chews toys (she destroys the squeaky ones, they're her favorite). I need help finding her a great place to live.

I AM IN FOSTER CARE! PLEASE FILL OUT OUR ADOPTION APPLICATION, ONCE PRE-APPROVED, GIVE US A CALL AND WE CAN SET UP AN APPOINTMENT FOR YOU TO MEET ME! I am 61 lbs., 6 years old, and seeking my forever home! Adoption Donation $300 All dogs are microchipped, neutered, current on all vaccines, heartworm tested and started on Tri Heart Plus; Vectra 3D. All household members and any dogs from the household need to be present at the time of the adoption. Our website is always kept 100% up to date with who is currently available. All new animals (40/week) are added to the site 2 weeks before their availability date to give you time to fill out your adoption application and get the family ready to come out to the shelter that day. As soon as animals are adopted, they are moved to the Adopted Pets page so if they are still listed on the Adoptable Dogs or Cats page, they are still available. So keep any eye on the site for any animals being added as available for adoption as new animals are added everyday! We would recommend if you haven’t done so already that you submit a general online adoption application with us so it is on file for when you are ready to come out and adopt. The adoption counselors will be able to show you many that would be a good fit for your family.  Please fill out an online application and we will give you a call as soon as we receive it. Meet Winnie! Hey friends, I'm Winnie. A low key, 6 year old, 45 pound lady looking for a forever home. I lived in a home once before, so I am crate trained and house trained, and i do best if I'm on a regular potty schedule. I also know how to use pee pads if you aren't going to be home and I have to go. I would love to live in a home where I can be the center of someone's world, and I will give you the same in return. My favorite thing is people! Even kids! I also really enjoy meeting new people. I enjoy spending my days napping on the couch, snacking on yummy treats, and sniffing around the yard. Well, sniffing in general, really. I am a hound dog after all, that's what we do, sniff. Maybe you can take me for a walk or a hike and i can get some new sniffs in once in a while! I also really enjoy running errands and going shopping with my foster mom. We go to stores where I can go inside with her. Maybe my new home will take me to some of those stores too! Maybe you can make your home my forever home? Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit, and then a meet and greet with the dog. Adoption fee is $250.
