Lucy was found in someone’s front yard at 2 days of age and taken in by a friend who raised her until 6 weeks. She had two dogs and was fearful for Lucy’s safety so she asked that we adopt her as we had cats and she might be happier. Lucy never received proper maternal interaction so therefore she is rather aloof although she does come to seek attention when she wants it. She will not be a lap kitty right off the bat so patience will be necessary. I would say she would do best in a one pet scenario and dogs would not be a good fit as we were witness to that first hand.

You can apply for Leonardo at www.ladyluckanimalrescue.com under the “Adopt a Pet” Tab Leonardo is a unique Domestic Mediumhair kitten born approximately 12/29/19. He has very fluffy orange fur with the cutest black patch by his armpit, and a kink in his tail! He loves to wrestle with the resident adult cats but his most favorite thing to do is cuddle his human! He really enjoys watching tv or hanging out by the window. Leonardo sometimes gets watery eyes due to having feline herpesvirus. It's something he may always have or it will go away as he gets older. He is ready for his forever home – are you the one?  Leonardo is neutered, microchipped, FIV/FelV tested negative, dewormed, fecal tested, and vaccinated (including rabies).
