Story
FOCCAS is a foster based rescue group in Coos Bay, Oregon. (on the Oregon Coast) None of these animals are located in the animal shelter, they are in our homes, being treated like our own pets. We show them for adoption on Saturdays 10-4 in Pony Village Mall in North Bend, Oregon. We are located inside, next to Sears. If you are interested we may be able to make other arrrangements................ISABELLA IS NOT AT THE MALL ON SATURDAYS. SHE IS ONLY IN THE FOSTER HOME....aprox birthdate 10/21/2008 Her adoption fee is $75. It includes spay, felv/fiv/hw tested, fvrcp(s), leukemia and rabies vaccinations, dewormed, flea treated, 24 PetWatch microchip with registration, free vet visit in Coos County, goody bag, going home carrier.....................Isabella is a character and if you want one, she is your girl. She has interesting social skills. She does not like being held, picked up or much of any interaction with people. BUT she does like to be petted at times on her head and she will sleep on your chest if you let her. As she has gotten older she does not get along with other cats but is ok with dogs but not as buddies. She seems to be more of a man's cat. She tolerates her foster mom because she feeds her. She will get in her foster dad's lap and sit there for a long time. As soon as she is done she will usually swat his hand (nails not extended) and get down. She also gets onhis chest when he is in bed watching TV. He kisses her on the head and she loves it. She leans into him for more kisses. A CHARACTER she is!!!!!!!!! She has been an indoor/outdoor cat in her prior home but since she is white she needs to be indoor only. But it is hard because she does like to go out during the summer. The reason is white cats have more exposure to the sun because of their coloring and possibility of skin cancer. She does like to sit in the windows to sleep or get some warmth. The foster home has foster cats (not around her) and resident and foster dogs. The doors are opened when the dogs need to go out and come back in and she does get out...If you are interested we can do a "trial run". We call it our foster to adopt program. You sign up as a foster parent and take her home to see if she works out for you.
