Meet Kindra Kindra Is a stunning one and a half year old blue and white Turkish Angora/Maine Coon mix. She is a gorgeous girl with a lovely personality, very outgoing, very friendly. She gets along very well with other cats and would probably do well in any home. She does have scar tissue over one eye and cannot see out of it, but the vet assures us that it has no effect on her quality-of-life. All potential adopters should reside in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, New Mexico, or Louisiana. We will not adopt outside of those states. Who We Are: We are a private rescue and privately funded. WE ARE NOT A SHELTER, BUT A RESCUE. A rescue is a PRIVATE HOME and not a public place to visit. Adopters must make appointments prior to visiting foster homes. All of our cats are spayed/neutered, FIV/FELV tested, wormed, de-fleaed, and vaccinated prior to adoption. Adoption Process: We require all potential adopters to fill out an adoption application prior to setting up an appointment to visit with the cat(s). We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. If you call or email us, we will provide you with an application via email. YOUNG CAT COMPANION POLICY: Unless otherwise indicated, all cats under the age of 3 must go into a home with another cat/kitten under the age of three or be adopted with a buddy. Ragdolls and Maine Coons are physically slow to mature, benefit greatly from the social interactions with another cat and often long for the companionship. Obviously, some young adults not raised around other cats or with more independent personalities may be exceptions to those rules, but that is up to the discretion of the Rescue to assess that need and is not negotiable. Special prices are made for buddy adoptions.

Dusty Kitty is a 10-month-old kitten. He is very sweet and cuddly. He loves to play, loves dogs, and is a very curious and fun little boy. My fiancé has had to move so I took Dusty in while he relocates to live with me. We quickly realized Dusty does not like cats, although he does absolutely great with dogs. He just needs a home where there are no other cats. He will come with a carried, a new litter box, a huge bag of Iams cat food, a fountain watering dish, his toys and laser pointer. He has all his shots and has been neutered. We are hoping to re-home him as quickly as possible.

Dexter is 6 months old. He is very sweet and playful. I adopted him through a local shelter so he is up to date on all shots and neutered.

7-9 years old.  Hello.  They call me Boss.  It’s the look I have.  Bossy.  Underneath the cover of this particular book lies a very sweet, extremely calm senior lady cat.  I love to snuggle down in a warm lap.  There’s nothing better.  Cuddling is my particular specialty.  I would love to come live in your house but, let me say that I’m not responsive to a high-activity place.  I like calm.  I have been known to tolerate other kitties, but it’s not pleasant for me, sharing space.  Dogs are more satisfactory.  You see, I have some tummy issues, and at temp housing, we have finally found a particular food that agrees with my very persnickety GI tract.  It will be important for me to say on that food only.  I’m looking for maturity in my new housemate.  Is that you?  I’ll want one-on-one time.  I’ll require it, actually.  I’m the Boss, after all.   Subsequently, you’ll have a very grateful, sweet cuddle-bug lady in your debt.
