Our lil Warrior Princess is GREAT with all size dogs.  She is currently in a foster home with couple of lil ankle biters and some bossy big dogs and she loves them all.  Xena came from the streets of a not very nice neighborhood. She's been let down by people in the past and can be timid with those she doesn't know but with a little love and preferably another playful dog in the house, you will see the playful side that made this sweet girl a volunteer favorite! For this reason, she should be in a home without children, and has to go to a home with another dog. Story
This is Dan (HWTH#20064A). He is a Vizsla/Shepherd mix, DOB: 3/17/17. Dan weighs approximately 30 pounds. Dan and Dodge were found in Rosamond by a friend of Halfway to Home. Dan has been relinquished to Halfway to Home so he can find the Forever home he deserves. This is a friendly boy who is a little timid on first introduction. Dan seems to have a calm personality but will be more active when he is comfortable in his new surroundings. Dan and Dodge are housed together at the rescue. They are house trained and use the doggy door. It will be imperative Dan's new owner be willing to give him the love, good-quality human companionship he craves as well as the structure, playtime, regular daily exercise and any additional training he might need to give him the best change of fitting in well in his new permanent home. When Dan is thoroughly settled, he will benefit from positive basic obedience training to help with any and all obedience commands and with the bonding process. Dan should make a wonderful loyal canine companion. Dan is good with other dogs and is crate friendly.
