Ron is a beautiful and friendly hound mix. He is timid at first, and quickly comes around with the help of treats. While waiting to get into the Haven, we learned some things about this sweet boy. He stays in a fenced in yard, is calm around other dogs and is the submissive one of the pack, he does not dig in the yard, and he loved hanging out on the porch. He is such a good dog, the family wanted to keep him, but felt like a fourth dog would be too much for them. His estimated DOB is 7/31/17 and he weighs 67 pounds...All pets have lifetime sanctuary at Haven of the Ozarks. If they cannot remain with their adopter, they must be returned to the Haven.Adoption fees are as follows: Puppies under the age of 6 months - $125Dogs weighing 30 pounds and less - $125 Dogs ages 6 months to 5 yrs old - $90Dogs over the age of 5 yrs old - $75.Cats under the age of 6 months old - $75Cats over the age of 6 months old - $65

Story
We got Lucky in July of 2018. He was about 3.5 months old from a shelter in the area. Loving dog that plays well with the kids and other dogs. He has grown to 72 lbs and is outside most of the time in a 0.25 acre fenced in back yard. He likes to chase squirrels, rabbits and birds. I have too busy of a schedule with work and personal life. Only have my kids half the time so Lucky needs a playmate. He is a loving dog and I am praying for a good new home for him.
