Story
Sweet Cherry is a gentle, large-breed mix (we think weimeraner / pibble), who weighs around 55 lbs. Cherry is terrific with people of all ages and sizes. She is very social and currently resides in a doggie daycare.  She can be a little timid at first, but then bonds strongly with her “people”.  Cherry’s favorite things in life are being with people and the outdoors (she also loves to carry around sticks!) Cherry enjoys long walks, hiking and jogging. She also loves to play with social dogs. Cherry has a heart-of-gold, with just the right amount of spunk! She’s the perfect combination of adventure and snuggles! Cherry is an absolute sweetheart who deserves her second chance. Story
Johnny is a 6 month old, 35 pound, chunk of goofiness. He gets along very well with his sister, is learning to walk on a leash without pulling, loves people, and is very affectionate. He is smart and treat motivated so he will be a pleasure to obedience train so that he can grow up to a big, well behaved boy. He enjoys being active outdoors and will happily chase a ball or go for long hikes with his people. If you are ready to add a new member to your active household, Johnny may just be your guy! This puppy is neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. The adoption fee is $475 if your adoption is prepaid prior to your pup's arrival. An additional $50 will be charged on puppies that are picked up from our Southbury CT adoption center, adopted at an event or foster home. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with CT HB 5368. If you are an MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at the Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between 10am-Noon. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05. Please DO NOT USE the ADOPTAPET "CONTACT THIS RESCUE GROUP" form below or you may not hear from us as these often end up in spam or bouncing back. After receipt of your application, an adoption counselor will then be in touch to answer your questions about this pup, discuss the adoption process and get the ball rolling!
