Meet Hazel! Hazel is a 10 month, 45lb Weimaraner that is loving, loyal and full of energy. Although she is going to be a large dog, she still believes she is a lap dog and likes to be held and cuddled. Hazel is shy and a bit fearful but warms up quickly, and will follow her human around like a shadow. She is working on crate training but does have some separation anxiety from her foster parents, she also has extremely high jumping ability. She’s doing great with potty training and has few accidents, loves her Kong and long walks. She is excellent on a leash and follows right next to her foster mom. She is also great with other dogs when introduced properly, and is submissive. Hazel is going to be a large dog that will need a decent amount of exercise due to her high energy. She would do great with an active family with a fenced in yard. Her adoption fee is $400.

Story
Hunter joined our family in 2012 and has been well loved since then. Hunter is 11 years old and we are his second owners. Hunter is calm, loves children, and wants to be as close to you as possible. Hunter loves visitors, but will sound the alarm upon their arrival. Hunter is fully house-trained and will touch a doorknob with his nose when he needs to go outside. Hunter responds to commands, such as sit, down, stay, come, enough, take, and 'in' (for his crate). Hunter understand fetch, but would rather watch you fetch a ball than fetch it himself. Hunter is extremely intelligent and enjoys puzzle-type find-the-treat games and belly rubs. Hunter does not jump up on people or furniture and is easily trained. Hunter does not get along with cats or small animals -- he has a true hunting nature and will rid your yard of moles, groundhogs, and squirrels. We hope Hunter's next family has the time for daily walks, lots of belly rubs and attention, and a nice yard for Hunter to explore!
