Story
Kaiah is a wonderful dog. We adopted her in 2011 and she immediately became part of our family. Because she was a rescue, we're unsure of her exact age, but it's likely she's between 9-11, although she has the energy of a young pup. Kaiah is extremely loving and playful. She loves to cuddle, walk and run, and bask in the sun. Whomever is lucky enough to adopt her will need to walk and/or run her often, cuddle her tons, and preferably will not be gone from the home for extended periods of time. She does *tolerate* cats, but if she had her way there'd be no cats in the home.

Story
Approx. DOB:  06-19-13      Approx. Weight: 16.8 Lbs Adoption Fee: $100, includes a two week trial to ensure everyone's happiness. NEEDS EXPERIENCED FAMILY WITH GOOD KNOWLEDGE OF DOGS. NO CHILDREN PLEASE. Raisin was found on the side of the road by a Good Samaritan and brought to the shelter. When his time was up there we took him on. Raisin had been adopted before. He was returned after being pushed into a kennel and he bit back. Something to understand about Raisin is that he isn’t a bite dog. He just Reacted to a bad situation. Our little Raisin is the most loving and kissy fellow. At the rescue he gets to play with five to six small dogs every day and they love it. He wouldn’t do so well with larger dogs but the right mellow one may be his best friend.  Raisin being part Besinji is a lot of fun if you like the breed. They can be very active and jump high for that frisbee; or kicking on the couch like a potato. Raisin is very intelligent and enjoys stimulation with activities and toys. Since he can jump high, children 13 and up would be advised for Raisin.  Raisin likes car rides and would love to go hiking with you. He wants to be everyone’s friend which is awesome. Not too sure about cats but I’d say no just to be safe. Give our little Raisin a chance.  Raisin has been neutered, vaccinated, heart worm tested negative, wormed and micro chipped.  If you are interested in adopting Raisin, please complete the adoption application located at www.furrykidsrefuge.org/adoptadog and a dedicated volunteer will get back to you as soon as possible.
