Oda I am a female CHIHUAHUA/ WHIPPET MIX with tan and white short fur, perky ears, and natural tail. I was a stray that a group of church members kept trying to get me so I would be safe. They kept me fed and gave me fresh water. I finally allowed myself to be “caught” and now I am a Morris Mutt. I am housetrained, excellent on walks please use harness and leash not collar to walk. I am totally vetted and ready for a home. I can be adopted NOW> DOB 8/13/17 10.7 lbs I am very guarded with new people until I am sure they will not hurt me. We have discovered she is very afraid of kids under the age of 14…to the point I think she had been very hurt by kids prior to us getting this sweet girl.

Story
Annie was found by a good Samaritan who was doing her best to help Annie out of a sticky situation. She was dropped off and left to fend for herself. Nobody would help and Annie’s fate seemed determined. Luckily, this young, spirited girl gets a fresh start! Annie is a prancy, confident young lady. She likes teasing the other dogs, including her friend Tony. Annie already knew how to sit, sit pretty, lay down and roll over. Someone invested in this precious pup once. We would love to see someone make an investment for the long run. Annie is weary of the kennel life and longs for peaceful spaces away from the stimulation. Annie deserves the reprieve of a life without stress and the fear of being alone.

Lucky My name is LUCKY and I have : Short Black fur on body, smooth tan/black/white face, perky ears, natural tail, Left front foot is white; Right front foot is Brown. I am loveable but very unsure of what all is happening to me. I have been to the vet for check up, vaccines. I was adopted in 2017 but my Dad became ill and could not care for me so I am back at the Safe House looking for a new home to love me. I miss my Dad but I will learn to love and have fun with someone else. DOG 3/17/16 53 lbs. Adoption fee $215.00
