Approx. DOB: 10/10/07                 Approx Weight: 9.4 Lbs Adoption Fee: $175  includes a 2 week trial to ensure everyone's happiness! AVAILABLE 3/7/20 Duke is a sweet little senior that was surrendered when they could no longer take care of him.  He does need an experienced dog owner, preferably with the Yorkie breed. He was in very poor health when we received him and we have spent several months getting his health back on track.   Duke takes awhile to come out of his shell. Once and awhile he gets to feeling frisky. He will run up and down the hallway with little dog zoomies. He loves to be wrapped up in a blanket with nothing hanging out but his nose. He loves to lay beside you or on your lap. Still working on potty training. Once he gets to know his humans and other dogs he sure is a sweet boy!     Duke has random mild seizures but is not on Medication at this time for them. He takes Alprazalam sometimes for anxiety. He needs a retirement home and a lap to cozy up on. Please no small children due to his small stature. I have been neutered, vaccinated, heartworm tested negative, wormed and microchipped.  If you are interested in adopting me, please complete the adoption application located at www.furrykidsrefuge.org/adoptadog and a dedicated volunteer will get back to you as soon as possible. Furry Kids' Refuge is in need of good quality dog and puppy food with meat as the first ingredient.  You can drop off donations at our weekly adoption events at the Lee's Summit Petco (1860 NW Chipman Road, Lee's Summit, MO), Saturdays only from Noon to 4:00 p.m.  Donations are tax deductible as allowed by law.  Would you like to foster a Furry Kid? Furry Kids' Refuge will supply the food & vet care while you supply the basic house rules & love.......win-win for all!!  Just visit our website http://www.furrykidsrefuge.org/category/fostering/  for more information. Thanks for your support!
