Jack Frost - Male, Yorkie, born 01/13/13, 8 pounds Neutered Microchipped UTD on vaccinations Rabies Bordetella Flea/Heartworm Preventative Dental-No teeth left No health issues Working on house training Requirements: 1. Must have a physical fenced yard as he does not walk on a leash 2. Patience Jack is a sweet little boy who will follow you everywhere, staring at you to see what you are doing. He absolutely loves to go outside, and if taken out regularly, will not have accidents in the house. He is very confident with new people and enjoys all dogs and cats, though he would be just fine to be your only furry friend. Jack gets wound up and will keep you laughing as he rubs and wiggles all over with his little feet in the air, just snorting away. When he is done with that, he will crawl into your lap, flop over on his back, and fall asleep while you pet his belly. Jack enjoys sleeping in the big bed at night, but will also sleep just fine in a dog bed or pen if you need him to. Jack only barks when he is hungry or wants you and can't get to you. His little side tongue is a permanent feature as he has no teeth left to hold it in, but don't worry about him being toothless. He'll still chew on a stuff toy and eats just fine. We think the tongue is adorable! Jack will require caution when doors are being opened as he might just dart right out to play. A securely fenced yard is a must for Jack as nothing else will stop him when his nose is on the trail of something good. Jack has not yet learned to walk on a leash. He did have hip surgery but has fully recovered. Caution should still be used as a precautionary measure. Jack is a tiny little ball of joy who will absolutely capture your heart and keep his forever person smiling. Please email us at gateway4paws@gmail.com for more information. Only completed applications will be considered for adoptions. Since we are 100% foster based rescue, only approved applications will be contacted to set up a meet and greet with the fur baby. We do not allow shipping and do not transport so you must be able to come to O'Fallon, IL area for meet and greet/adoption. Thanks
