Story
Little Bentley here is quite the guy. At 11 years old, Bentley has had a hard life and just wants some soft beds to call his own. He came to us severely neglected, missing all his teeth and had horrible skin. We also learned that Bentley has a collapsing trachea which is easily treated with once daily inhaler treatments (which he doesn&#39t mind). Bentley is quite the little ham and loves to run up and give kisses when he&#39s comfortable around you. This senior guy is around 8 lbs and on a very strict diet to keep him lean. The adoption fee for all of our dogs is $250.00 and that includes their vaccinations, spay or neuter, rabies and microchip. Our dogs are also heartworm negative (or we will cover their treatment). To start the process please visit our website and fill out the adoption application (www.dfwrescueme.org) and from there the foster family can answer any questions and arrange a time to meet.

Story
Update 3/3/2020 Cricket is doing great! She had her dental last week and only has 7 teeth left, but that does not slow her down. She is adhering to her strict diet and exercise plan and is on her way to a healthy weight. Cricket is getting the hang of only going to the bathroom outside and is crate trained. We are now accepting applications for Cricket. To apply to adopt this sweet girl please go to www.rescuerowinc.org Update 2/11/2020 Cricket is a ray of sunshine in her foster home! She has confidence and energy as she explores her surroundings. She is very loyal and attaches quickly to her 'person'. When not at your side, she likes to hang out in her crate. She gets excited for walks, treats, and her sweater! While she prefers people to dogs, she does well with older dogs. Cricket loves children, but their fast movements makes her nervous, so a home with children older than 8 would be best. To submit an application to adopt Cricket please go to www.rescuerowinc.org Meet Cricket! She is a 10 year old Yorkshire Terrier. Cricket was brought to the Dallas Animal Shelter as a stray in horrible condition. She was covered in mats, which caused major skin irritation and sores all over. Unfortunately, we had to shave off all of her hair, but there was just no saving it. She also has an extreme case of rotten teeth. Cricket saw Dr. Kim at Panther Creek Animal Hospital and was put on a round of antibiotics. She is scheduled for her dental in 2 weeks and then will be ready to find her forever home - 10 years - Yorkshire Terrier mix - 10lbs Available for adoption! If you would like to adopt a dog from Rescue Row please fill out an online application at rescuerowinc.org *Please check your junk email folder if you do not receive a response from a Rescue Row member within 48 hours. *You must live within an hour of the DFW Metroplex because we require a homecheck *Our adoption fees are as follows (paid by cash or a check made out to Rescue Row): Dogs 10 weeks-6 months old: $300 adoption fee Dogs 7 months and older: $275 adoption fee _____________________________________________________________________ Rescue Row is a section 501(c)3 (non-profit) no-kill all volunteer dog rescue organization, incorporated in March 2017, serving the DFW Metroplex. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs in shelters, dogs in abusive or neglectful situations and dogs surrendered by their owners because of difficult circumstances. We place dogs in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process, which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and lives. Dogs in our care are spayed or neutered, microchipped, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes. We assist dogs in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement. Dogs in the greatest need take priority. Finally, we strive to work with shelters and other rescue and humane organizations to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to create a better world for homeless dogs. Rescue Row stands ready to help you, the prospective adopter or foster home, find a companion who will thrive in your home. We are here to assist you in every way possible throughout the adoption process and will continue to be a helpful resource after you have welcomed your new pets into your life.

Story
Harold is a 9-10 year old, little yorkie mix.  He is shy, startles easily, probably not ideal for kids. Real name was Little Bit, but we are calling him Harold.  His owner died and he was brought to the shelter. All Dallas DogRRR adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption.  The standard minimum donation for puppies is $325 + 8.25% tax =  $351.81, for dogs over 12 months the adoption fee is $225 + 8.25% tax = $243.66 and for our senior dogs 8 years and up is $100 + 8.25% tax = $108.25; this increase includes sales tax recently required by the State of Texas to collect.  You can view all the adoptable pets and fill out an adoption application online on our website at http://dallasdogrrr.org.   For more information, you can email adopt@dallasdogrrr.org.  Upon receiving your application please allow us 2-3 business days to review and process.  ##565673##

Story
Update 7/10: Hey everyone! My name is Pepper. I am a 12 year old female Yorkie with grey and silver Fur. I weigh about 8.8lbs and just recently found out I am diabetic. I came to UYR after being taken to the shelter to be put down by my mom of 12 years. This was heartbreaking, thankfully someone at the shelter contacted UYR and said I had so much life still in me. They saved me! Now I am in my new foster home with my foster family getting use to my new life and changes with my diet and blood sugar. I wasn’t feeling good and my foster mom took me to get checked. That is where it all started. I was in the emergency vet for 4 days. Thankfully I am a brand new puppy feeling great and playing with my new foster siblings. I get along great with older dogs and kids. My foster mom says I am the sweetest thing around. I have to get insulin shots every 12 hours which don’t really bother me at all and eye drops for an ulcer that’s healing. The part that is a bummer is I can’t have an treats! Man....that’s a big bummer. I would love to find my forever home with a family that will love me and give me snuggles for the rest of my life.

8/7/19: Hi everyone, Pepper here! I’m am doing so good in my foster home. My eye that we thought we might have to take out has been healing great after some surgery by Dr. Sam! It’s 85% healed. My diabetes is under control and I’m looking great. I’m scheduled to have a dental this week. Not really excited about that but... excited to have a sparkling mouth. My foster mom says I’m such a good girl. I love to go outside and do my business and just walk around in the sun. I get along with all my foster sisters and brother. Life is good now just can’t wait to find my forever home. 07/12/19 INITIAL BIO. Hey everyone! My name is Pepper. I am a 12 year old female Yorkie with grey and silver Fur. Story
Chloe is a sweet yorkipoo. She is around 8 years old. We adopted her six years ago when we got married, but we are now (unfortunately) looking for a new home because our oldest daughter is severely allergic to dogs. We are looking for someone who will love Chloe as much as we do and who will also adopt her best friend, our other dog (Mr. Mom). Here is his profile: https://www.adoptapet.com/pet/(xxx) xxx-xxxx 8-wylie-texas-chihuahua She is sweet, loves to play, is very protective of children, and really enjoys naps!
