Story
Bonded with CharlotteNoah is an absolutely amazing dog!  He was found with his buddy and best friend, Charlotte, in the Blue Ridge area where they had been abandoned.  They followed a woman that was visiting.  They wanted to stay with her, protect her and get all the loving and petting they could get.  The woman didn't want to leave them and returned to take them home with her.  The foster loves them and she would like to keep them but she travels for work constantly and is not in a position to keep them.  They are amazing house dogs, and are wonderful with other dogs and cats. Noah is fully vetted and completed his HW treatment several months ago. Both Charlotte and Noah are great with kids, but we would prefer a home with older kids due to the dogs being so large and there being two of them. Noah and Charlotte are very attached to each other and will only be adopted together.  They will also get very attached to their new people so they need a family that wants to spend time with them and make them part of the family. He does have an issue with hating large trucks; garbage trucks, cement trucks, any sort of large box truck or a trailer. They will bark and lunge at the trucks and they will need training to correvt this. Other than this issue, they walk very well on the leash. The trainer does feel they can stop this behavior with training and a possible prong collar. He will get car sick on rides longer than 45 mins. Foster is going to attempt not feeding him right before car rides.  Please Check out Charlotte's profile too.  Age: 4 years Weight: 100 lbs Temperament: Gets along with kids, dogs and cats Training: Housetrained, crate-trained, good on leash Vetting: Spay/neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, heartworm... This adoptable is not a Doggie Harmony animal, but a courtesy listing on behalf of the kind person who rescued/cares for this animal until it can find a forever home. If interested, please complete an Adoption Application (www.bit.ly/DH-Adoption). They will receive a copy of your application and ask for a home visit to ensure pet is a good fit for your home/lifestyle. There will be a fee to reimburse for the cost of its vetting/care; it will vary by rescuer/animal.
