Story
We are trying to find a loving home for my son's dog, Ozzie. He is an Akita/Australian Shepard mix. He found him loose on the street and rescued him when he was about 10 months old. He attempted, but could not find the owner. He is 6 years old now. My son's job changed which required him to travel, so my husband and I have been keeping him. He gets along with most dogs, but he has some food aggression. I am going to be taking care of my 7 month old granddaughter and we need to find a home for him by October. He would do best in a home without other pets or small children. He is very smart and obedient otherwise. We are willing to help with expenses to offset adoption costs, etc. He is up to date with all vaccinations and well checks. This is a difficult decision for our family, because we are so attached to him. I hope someone will be able to help us find the perfect home for him. I know he would be a great pet and companion for the right couple or person.
