Story
I am expecting and I am having to rehome some of my cat because of room and money. Cheech is sorta needy with attention, he may be shy at first because he has really only been around me and he brothers and sister, but once he warms up he will be on your lap rolling around begging for attention. He is a great companion.

Story
Trixie will be a year old on April 29th. She was born a special needs cat with 3 normal siblings to my mother cat that I have been the owner of since birth. Trixie was a little different and much smaller than the rest. She can walk and eat on her own. I noticed she was a little different and took a little longer to develop the same skills as her siblings did. She was a little shaky when she walked and constantly fell down a lot. She has progressed a lot and is doing great. She absolutely loves attention!! She still falls over and loses her balance from time to time but she gets right back up. She is so precious and sweet and will follow you around meowing for you to pick her up and love on her. She has no aggression whatsoever and loves to sleep with you. I work 12 hrs a day and feel like Trixie needs someone who can put more time into her and be able to train her a little more. She doesn't use the litter box and I don't have the time to train her. She is so easy to fall in love with!

Story
Meet Seymour, a black American Bobtail kitten, aged 4 months. He was found at the age of 4 weeks. He is current on his vaccinations; has medical records and is neutered. This is a delightful, playful and social kitten. His unique qualities match all of the American Bobtail characteristics and we received confirmation from the veterinarian to support this. I am looking to find a loving home for him because I have other, older cats in the household and the addition of another animal goes beyond the limits for pets in my community. The American Bobtail is an uncommon breed of domestic cat that was developed in the 1960s. It is most notable for its stubby "bobbed" tail about one-third to one-half the length of a normal cat's tail. This is the result of a genetic mutation affecting the tail development, similar to that of a Manx cat. The American Bobtail is hearty, short-tailed cat with a moderately long, stocky body with a wedged shaped head and almond shaped eyes.

Story
A stay mother cat showed up to my house. Shortly after she had a litter of kittens. I brought them in last summer before the hurricane. Pedro even to this day is shy to humans. He gets along with my other cats and dog except for his brother who is also shy to humans but not as bad. I'm rehoming him as well. I love all my animals but I cant afford to keep them all. The up keep is also hard as I broke my back a year ago in a car accident and still deal with lots of pain. He needs a home who can break him of his shyness.

Story
Probably the most friendly cat you will ever meet. Chance loves to hang out with you. He is a talker, likes to play. He enjoys other cats and dogs and kids. All around fun personality. Chance was picked up by a good Samaritan as a young cat. He was extremely injured by something, broken leg, severe facial trauma. He spent the first week of his time with us in the vet fighting for his life. Vet wasn't sure he would make it but here he is. His depth perception is a little off and one of his eyes looks a little funny but he's super healthy and happy! To meet Chance, please fill out this application: https://www.adoptapet.com/saved-by-the-heart/adoption-application/ Once we review the application, we will set up a time with you to meet Chance and answer any questions. Adoption fee will be discussed, home visits are required. Potential adopters should be able to show vet records if they currently have or previously had pets. Any questions can be emailed to savedbytheheart@gmail.com or texted to 864.907.2167. Phone calls are rarely answered. We are a volunteer run organization based out of Greer SC and work schedules vary so we appreciate your patience during the adoption process. We do have a Foster-to-Adopt Program if you are interested in testing the animal in your home before making the commitment to adopt. Email us for details on this program.
