This sweet young girl came in to a local pound from a high kill shelter in Kentucky before transferring to us here. She is very friendly with people but needs an experienced owner to teach her that other dogs are okay. She is currently working on a training program to help with her anxiety and dog reactivity. She is great with adults and children, but she would do best in a home with a fenced yard and where she is the only animal. She is a larger active breed and would benefit from a lifestyle that reflects that. Marley needs a family that will continue working with her on her training plan to reinforce what she has learned and give her the security of a forever home. Despite her rough past, she doesn't let it bring her spirit down. Marley is a happy and sweet young girl with so much life left to live and love to give. Amber is strong and pulls on her leash when walking. Being a strong, large breed dog, Amber would benefit from basic obedience training where she can work on improving her skills to be a well mannered dog. It is best suited that Amber goes to a home with no other pets as she can be reactive towards other dogs. While in the shelter, Amber has been vaccinated, dewormed, spayed and microchipped.
