Sweet mama Koko and her pup Yoda were originally surrendered to us back in July of 2019. Koko is a loving, enthusiastic girl who is crazy about people, but especially kids! She enjoys playing with other dogs but does not get along with cats. She has been adopted and returned on her own a couple of times due to separation anxiety. If left alone, she tends to become destructive. She is extremely loving and, although she can be boisterous on occasion, she still knows how to cuddle! We are requiring that Yoda and Koko are adopted together since they are so bonded and would need to be the only pets in the home. One thing to note is that while both dogs love playtime with other doggy friends while separate from each other, Koko tends to be a helicopter parent when playing in a group while Yoda is present. He is, of course, not a big fan of this. So if they were to go home together, they would need to be the only animals in the home.If you are ready to open your heart and home to Koko and/or Yoda, please come visit them!

Mae is incredibly sweet and goofy once she gets the chance to come out of her shell! She is a little unsure of new people at first, but does warm up quickly and once she does, she's amazing! She will get so excited to see you, she curls up into a circle and skitters across the floor to get loves! She absolutely loves to be pet and she also loves to play tag, chasing you around and galloping at full speed! She is so silly and so sweet. Mae does quite well on a leash and loves belly rubs, too! Please consider coming to get to know her and learning about her hilarious antics! Due to previous experiences, we recommend that Mae be the only animal in her next home.

Yoda and his mom Koko were originally surrendered to SHS back in July 2019. Yoda is an easygoing, active boy who just loves everybody. He gets his enthusiasm from his mom and adores playtime with other dogs and people. He loves belly rubs and cuddles. They both love kids, though neither of them likes cats.We are requiring that both Yoda and Koko be adopted together since they are such a bonded pair. They haven't lived together in a while, so you may have to monitor them closely at first, but they lived together for over 4 years and should be able to readjust. One thing to note is that when Koko and Yoda are playing in a group of dogs, Koko tends to be a "helicopter parent" and get between Yoda and his buddies - understandably, he isn't a big fan of this - so if they go home together, they need to be the only animals. However, if you are ready and willing to open your heart and home to Yoda and/or Koko, please come visit these lovely dogs at Spokane Humane Society!
